Really good as an introduction to veganism but wouldn’t recommend if you’re relatively well versed in that world as it gets quite repetitive in some places。 I really liked the message and the cause that the book promotes but I found it a bit simplistic in parts, which obviously works well for people who know nothing about veganism, but not so well for people who are looking to further their research。

I’ve deliberately taken my time reading this book whilst on my first few months of eating completely vegan。 Living a vegan lifestyle is a process and can be very overwhelming, something I learned from reading this book。 Take your time, learn, adapt, implement, don’t try and do it all at once。 I’m taking it day by day and have found this book by Lucy Watson a really helpful guide to all aspects of veganism。 I’ll be keeping this book for a long time as I know I will want to refer back to it during I’ve deliberately taken my time reading this book whilst on my first few months of eating completely vegan。 Living a vegan lifestyle is a process and can be very overwhelming, something I learned from reading this book。 Take your time, learn, adapt, implement, don’t try and do it all at once。 I’m taking it day by day and have found this book by Lucy Watson a really helpful guide to all aspects of veganism。 I’ll be keeping this book for a long time as I know I will want to refer back to it during my journey。 A must have reference for anyone wanting to move to a vegan lifestyle。 。。。more

To much first person speaking and the language used was dry not very convincing in my opinion。

Rebecca Cresswell

Only criticism is that it felt a bit narcissistic。。 there was no need for the pictures of her flat, pets etc。 Otherwise it was very informal and reinforced my reasons for being vegan

This is such an informative book。 I particularly liked the table of E numbers and information on what each one means and could have been derived from。The info on clothing is also really good。 I recommend this to anyone who is vegan / wants to be vegan or just wants to be more conscious about where products come from and purchase / eat less of the animal based products。

Good book with some really nice notes and thoughts on veganism, with some good and practical tips and advice too! Lovely pictures however, they really consumed a lot of the pages

Provided a general perspective on veganism and was a simple read。 It was repetitive at times and could have explored the topics discussed in a lot more detail。

Nothing new to me as a vegan of nearly 3 years but I loved the way she presented the information in a clear and concise manner。 My only critique and why I've dropped a star off is because on the part about supplements lacks to mention how vital iodine is to a healthy Vegan diet。 Nothing new to me as a vegan of nearly 3 years but I loved the way she presented the information in a clear and concise manner。 My only critique and why I've dropped a star off is because on the part about supplements lacks to mention how vital iodine is to a healthy Vegan diet。 。。。more

Great book for someone who is just beginning to dip their foot into the pool of Veganism。 It has a wide breadth of topics such as food, morals, clothing and Lucy relates her personal experiences to each of these。 As a well-researched Vegan, I found it empowering but not particularly helpful。 It mainly just retold research and information I was previously aware of, which reassured my knowledge。

Adrianne

A fantastic book to help with living a better life and making better choices。 Well articulated

This is a good little introduction to veganism if you're still at the start of your journey。 It's quite repetitive in places but it does cover the basics of all areas of a vegan lifestyle。 There are some nice lifestyle shots included but it feels like they're just there as page fillers and there's no correlation to what you're reading about。 I can't put my finger on what it is exactly but this just didn't meet my expectations。 This is a good little introduction to veganism if you're still at the start of your journey。 It's quite repetitive in places but it does cover the basics of all areas of a vegan lifestyle。 There are some nice lifestyle shots included but it feels like they're just there as page fillers and there's no correlation to what you're reading about。 I can't put my finger on what it is exactly but this just didn't meet my expectations。 。。。more

A very easy read and especially good for basic research as well as if you have only just started looking into vegan lifestyle

The Title Says It AllI finished this within a day of me purchasing it。 Some of the information was quite interesting, although I wish there could have been more personal stories from the author and her experience going vegan。
