This story is of a kind witch who invites a collection of animals to join her on her broom， though her despite her cat thinking it will get too crowded。 Things appear against her and the witch loses her hat， bow and wand。 However the animals she picked up along the way begin to help collect her belongings and when the witch eating dragon comes along， they save her！This book was a fantastic read， with pictures supporting each step of the book。

It’s definitely one of our favorites from Julia Donaldson！ Initially bought to be read on Halloween， it’s still being read now almost every night。 The rhymes are so catchy my kids know every word by heart。
