Crazy ending

Maddie 🌙

We Were Liars had dislikable and frankly annoying characters。 The narrator/MC was not intriguing to me and the book itself is boring。 The plot twist was eased into more than a plot twist should and overall I feel like book was a waste

Although I gave it 3 stars, I did enjoy this book。 I’m giving it 3 because for me it was very predictable (predicted exactly how it ended), and I wasn’t the largest fan of how it was written。 The concept and story line overall was entertaining!

I read this book in a little over 24 hours I had to know what happened。 It was incredible。 I don’t know what else to say

Kaydee

This book was okay。 Not the best。 Not the worst。 However, after reading reviews for this book, I was a little let down but the plot twist at the end。 I expected more。

Hannah

I really enjoyed this book。 It took me a little while to get into it, but once I did I was hooked! I like that you are discovering what happened at the same time as the main character so you want just as badly for characters to reveal information as she does。

Bailey

Couldn’t really get into it, I only read it because I heard the ending was great。 There were really interesting key themes such as classism, racism, materialism, etc but they weren’t explored as much as necessary。 The ending was well written though and had me sobbing!

Eh。

Fatima

The only reason i gave it two stars was for the ending, the forshadowing, and tears。 Do i recommend this book? No。 Do i recommend it for the ending itself? Yes。 Do what you will with this information。 It a short book so why not give it a try。

I cried。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Reading this felt like a fever dream。 So weird, confusing and tied together with a shocking ending。 Wish it were longer but it was still a awesome read nevertheless。 Also, I definitely was able to relate with Cady when she was giving away her belongings out of grief and guilt。 It felt nice to feel a understood。

Oh my godThis book was good then better and then soul crushing。 It was the worst book I’ve ever read and I recommend it everyone。

So。。。 I had great expectations about this book。 I heard so many great reviews about it and the suposed plot twist at the end but i end up desapointed。 I liked the book overall but it turned very frustrating。 Just a bunch of brats talking about their miserable lifes, and then。。。 the plot twist。。。。 disappointment! I was expecting WOW but i got a MEH! A very desapointed meh。。。

Yes, and even better than I expected, the story is beautifully built up along the book and the tragedy is a puzzle and when you get to the very end you have the puzzle finished and it’s not pretty。

I literally hated the ending of this book。 The only reason that I actually read it was because of the twist at the end and I was very disappointed。 The twist explanation was only 15 pages!!!!!! it felt so rushed!!

I thought this book was fantastic, definitely a tear jerker at the end。 Speaking of the ending, it took me whole heartedly by surprise and I loved the book even more! 10/10 recommend!

I'm undecided about my exact thoughts。 Mostly I'm confused。 I did not expect this ending, not just because it came out of nowhere but that there were almost no hints or necessarily foreshadowing that made me suspect it。 I'm feeling dazed and foggy。。。 Almost like Cadence felt throughout the book。Although the story feels a bit incomplete or unfinished, I found that I couldn't put it down once I started。 The writing or storyline wasn't my favorite, but still I found myself engrossed and curious for I'm undecided about my exact thoughts。 Mostly I'm confused。 I did not expect this ending, not just because it came out of nowhere but that there were almost no hints or necessarily foreshadowing that made me suspect it。 I'm feeling dazed and foggy。。。 Almost like Cadence felt throughout the book。Although the story feels a bit incomplete or unfinished, I found that I couldn't put it down once I started。 The writing or storyline wasn't my favorite, but still I found myself engrossed and curious for answers。 I think the writing style captured the erratic and confused nature or Cadence's mind and that's what kept me reading。 。。。more

My thoughts on this book? It's good。 I enjoyed reading it。 I liked it。 But here's the thing, I didn't love it。 I was invested, but the ending was so so anticlimactic to me。 Almost kind of disappointing。 I found that halfway through, I was starting to piece things together and eventually, I got it, before I even got to the twist。 So, it wasn't really that surprising and shocking at all。 And I was kind of sad。 I wanted to feel that shock everyone else did。 As for the characters, I don't know。 At f My thoughts on this book? Probably。 But I wouldn't be in a hurry to go。 。。。more
