This was all over the place as it has many different stories but the main thing it starts off with Batman vs Clayface, him remembering his times with Damian as he passed away recently and then there is the stuff with Superman and they team up on a supernatural case involving some soul eater, its a good tale of friendship and there is a good one where Batman has to team up with Harper and it also kind of acts as an origin for Blue Bird! Average collection of standalone stories。 Some standouts and some duds。

This is an odd collection of stories。 I don't like that this issues were made before, after and even in the middle of Zero Year; it affects the flow of the whole run in an odd way。Still, the single issues were pretty good, specially those dealing with Damian (temporary) death and works as a breather between Zero Year and Endgame。 This is an odd collection of stories。 I don't like that this issues were made before, after and even in the middle of Zero Year; it affects the flow of the whole run in an odd way。Still, the single issues were pretty good, specially those dealing with Damian (temporary) death and works as a breather between Zero Year and Endgame。 。。。more

Sorry but this one kinda sucked。 It didn’t make much sense reading it in order with the other mainline New 52 books。 The first couple of stories were good but then I was super lost and the new art style was NOT GOOD。 I know Endgame will be better so I’m excited for that。 Probably going to be at least 4 stars。

Jumping back into the Snyder run, this collects some of the one-shot stories and ties in to other DC storylines。 As always with these collections, rather than one story, it results in an uneven mix of different art and tone, but there are some good episodes included to make it worth reading。

Досить цікава збірка інтерлюдій для даної лінії, кожна зі своїм артом。

Random one shots related to Zero Year etc。 Not a big fan and feels like a filler/bridge between volume 5 and 7。

багато лихих персонажів, багато внутрішніх конфліктів, гарно змальовано і смачно вчитуватися。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I loved this for different reasons then the previous story arch zero year。 I loved seeing the kids watch the batsignal turn on。 That was cute。 I didn’t know Damian died so that was a little shocking, I do have to admit。 I suppose I’ll have to find that story now。

It’s a good collection of mostly disjointed stories。 A little Bluebird, some Clayface, some serial killer action, some magic, some catwoman。。。 fun for the whole family。 My biggest complaint is the ancillary nature of these “episodes” paired with the teases and references to stuff I’m not reading, like Batman Eternal。 Anyway, it’s still pretty damn good。

It's a bit of a mixed bag this one, because the graphics are amazing at points and some of the storylines are ace (particularly Clayface)。 However, it all just feels too eratic to be more enjoyable。 It's a bit of a mixed bag this one, because the graphics are amazing at points and some of the storylines are ace (particularly Clayface)。 However, it all just feels too eratic to be more enjoyable。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I won't comment on the stories with Harper because I don't know who the fuck she is and I'm really missing some context。Bright New Yesterday - Red Hood Gang shenanigans are always fun。 I liked that Red Hood One figured out Bruce was an imposter henchman。 I like smart villains。 Of course he would be smart。 I always love Bruce and Gordon interactions as always。Tomorrow - Batman inspiring hope among his future sidekicks。 Short but sweet。Nowhere Man - Clayface story, probably the best story of this I won't comment on the stories with Harper because I don't know who the fuck she is and I'm really missing some context。Bright New Yesterday - Red Hood Gang shenanigans are always fun。 I liked that Red Hood One figured out Bruce was an imposter henchman。 I like smart villains。 Of course he would be smart。 I always love Bruce and Gordon interactions as always。Tomorrow - Batman inspiring hope among his future sidekicks。 Short but sweet。Nowhere Man - Clayface story, probably the best story of this volume in my opinion。 The bat suit Lucius disposed of looked very Batman Beyond-ish and I liked that。 Bruce was even like "Dude, what the fuck? Why did you get rid of this?"Ghost Lights - An odd story and the part where Batman needed to find a piece of paper and asks the ghost for help was dumb。 It would have been better without that。 The world's greatest detective doesn't need a ghost to tell him to look in the corner for a piece of paper。Ages - I love the idea of Batman being locked up in Arkham to test the security。 I wish this was a thing he did on a regular basis。The Meek - Decent serial killer story。 The killer's motives were kind of lame, to kill and then just fade away。 Okay。 I really only care about the part with Eric Border at the end。Eric Border: "You sure sticking him in this room is a good idea? It's the Joker's cell。 I uh, guess you know that already。"LaterEric Border: "Uh, mind if I ask you a question? Wont—uh—won't the Joker be upset?"Batman: "He's always disturbed。"Eric Border: "Is that—did you just make a joke? Huhn。"Awww。 He made a joke about you, isn't that cute。 。。。more

The New 52 Batman, issues #0,#18,#19,#20,#28,#34, and Annual #2。 Eight single-issue stories across 24 months of publication, from Year Zero to Damien’s death to the Batman Eternal weekly series。 All nice stand-alone stories, although there will be some confusing issues (Harper, Catwoman’s changes, Red Hood Gang), as with anything you come into the middle of。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Honestly my rating isn’t reflective of the content but rather the fact that I have absolutely no idea what’s going on, and trying to find the reading order of Batman is like trying to face the Riddler。 I don’t know what entire story arcs I missed between volumes but suddenly nothing makes sense。 Apparently a major character died at。。。 some point? In another series? Alrighty then。

Some great stories in here。 These are all side stories intended to fill out the batman storyline。 Not really necessary to read for the main Batman story。 However, it does feature the intro to Harper Row/Bluebird which I enjoyed。

Another Batman AnthologyI’m frankly a bit tired of reading loosely related Batman stories。 There are too many of those。 I’m here for the long form and interconnected stories! These did have really cool stories though。 The Clayface story was, by far, my story。 Batman’s alter ego is a bit of a joke but the story about identity is fascinating。 I did also like the Arkham portion and the introduction of the new orderly。UItimately, I did find the jumps in the story as distracting。 Spending time and me Another Batman AnthologyI’m frankly a bit tired of reading loosely related Batman stories。 There are too many of those。 I’m here for the long form and interconnected stories! I remember reading the stories collected in this volume in single issues and not being the biggest fan of them。 However upon this re-read I can appreciate them a lot more。 As mostly self contained stories (with the odd requirement of prior new 52 knowledge) each issue contained in this volume works well enough on its own。 The highlight is the issue with Batman dealing with his most recent, and arguably most tragic, loss and how he is struggling to deal with it。 Harper Row is given more to do (an I remember reading the stories collected in this volume in single issues and not being the biggest fan of them。 However upon this re-read I can appreciate them a lot more。 As mostly self contained stories (with the odd requirement of prior new 52 knowledge) each issue contained in this volume works well enough on its own。 The highlight is the issue with Batman dealing with his most recent, and arguably most tragic, loss and how he is struggling to deal with it。 Harper Row is given more to do (and eventually an alter ego) in one of the better issues and we get a fun, if not slightly daft story with Superman。 This volume is the definition of filler but it’s an enjoyable read nonetheless。 。。。more

Well, as short stories collection tend to, this is just too inconsitent。 Some short stories are quite great, some are ruined by unneccesary effects (digital masking :D) and some are。。。why did that happen? Just why? Overall, an average thing。 Worth reading for some new takes on Arkham and madness, but I have sighed on far too many places。

3。5 This isnt my favourite of the New 52's because its just a collation of comics that jump around and link to other series。 Although the intro explains the jumps and lightly notes the timelines, it would be good to have an explanation at the start of each comic to know。。。 also massive spoilers occur without the actual comics where the event actually happens so no payoff。 Still, some great mini adventures and nice to see focus on villains and side-kicks that arent the main ones。 3。5 This isnt my favourite of the New 52's because its just a collation of comics that jump around and link to other series。 Although the intro explains the jumps and lightly notes the timelines, it would be good to have an explanation at the start of each comic to know。。。 also massive spoilers occur without the actual comics where the event actually happens so no payoff。 Still, some great mini adventures and nice to see focus on villains and side-kicks that arent the main ones。 。。。more
