Usual Dale Carnegie book。 A lot of common sense packaged together into an easily readable book。Don't expect ground breaking discoveries here but rather a reafirmation of basic principles。 Usual Dale Carnegie book。 A lot of common sense packaged together into an easily readable book。Don't expect ground breaking discoveries here but rather a reafirmation of basic principles。 。。。more

Uh, no。 I don't buy it。It's hard to explain myself here but this may have worked for me if it weren't about a third of the whole book, and been phrased in a more neutral manner。All that being said, I am aware that this is a self-help book, not a physics textbook。 Obviously, the evidence is going to be anecdotal but I still wasn't a fan of this。 。。。more

The author has spoken about how worries have affected an individual and how it has been a reason for the development of a certain disease that could have been avoided。 My takeaways from the book:-Your present is the most precious thing。-Stop worrying about both the future and the past。-Worrying makes you nervous and tense。 This impacts your body functioning too。-Analyzing a problem will make you worry less as you can fix it。I recommend it to anyone to get some insights about worrying and how to The author has spoken about how worries have affected an individual and how it has been a reason for the development of a certain disease that could have been avoided。 My takeaways from the book:-Your present is the most precious thing。-Stop worrying about both the future and the past。-Worrying makes you nervous and tense。 This impacts your body functioning too。-Analyzing a problem will make you worry less as you can fix it。I recommend it to anyone to get some insights about worrying and how to cope with it。 。。。more

so good。 interesting how it was written in the christian era where it was normal to talk about God in a self help book like this。 felt like it was much more real than self help books written today。

The book is definitely everyone needs to read at least once to help with the worry we all experience。 It was such a great book with key tips to help make your life easier。 PS- sorry for the late update, I have been distracted with life that it takes me a lot longer to finish a book than when I was in High School。

Fantastic book👍 I am on my fourth reading back to back for a very difficult year and health issues this year。 My Dad got our family and employees 35 years ago to take Dale’s How To Win Friends and Influence People course。 That was a great decision to help our sales and business career。 This book is excellent so I will continue reading it。 I have a major foot surgery in 3 weeks and currently struggling with a bad bout of Bronchitis so pretty stressed。 This book has so many great suggestions with Fantastic book👍 I am on my fourth reading back to back for a very difficult year and health issues this year。 My Dad got our family and employees 35 years ago to take Dale’s How To Win Friends and Influence People course。 That was a great decision to help our sales and business career。 This book is excellent so I will continue reading it。 I have a major foot surgery in 3 weeks and currently struggling with a bad bout of Bronchitis so pretty stressed。 This book has so many great suggestions with stories to back them。 。。。more

A let down after "How to Win Friends and Influence People。" Written with the same human and compassionate voice as the aforementioned book, but not really that practical of advice -- at least not for our times。 Many times the advice came off as overly simplistic pap。 There were a few things of value in this book, but not enough to keep me engaged after the halfway mark。 A let down after "How to Win Friends and Influence People。" Written with the same human and compassionate voice as the aforementioned book, but not really that practical of advice -- at least not for our times。 Many times the advice came off as overly simplistic pap。 There were a few things of value in this book, but not enough to keep me engaged after the halfway mark。 。。。more

A classic, modern day Bible, bedstander that must be read every so often along with his other book。 After reading it, sell every you possess and move to a monastery in India。 Just kidding, this is not Paramahansa Yogananda type of book。

。 。。。more
