Summary

DUAL WORLDS, DUAL SIGHTS

In the land of Nirai Kanai, there are two realms, one that is the "outside" world, and another that is "inside" and hidden from the rest of reality。 At the request of the holy Himegami, Syaoran ventures into this inside realm to investigate an anomaly, but what he sees there is very different from what Fai and Kurogane see。 What does this discrepancy mean, and what can they do to overcome it?!

I love the fact that we get a Tsubasa continuation! I'm very sad I didn't last long, but I'll take what I can get, because it's one of my favorite series。 I really enjoy getting to see a little bit more of the characters outside of caring for Sakura and more on their own adventure。 I love seeing Fai finally really using his magic。 I love the fact that we get a Tsubasa continuation! CLAMP is just so creative。 I love the mixture of Okinawan religion into this new world, and the idea of dual perspectives in Fai/Kurogane vs Shoaran。 It's just such a neat story。 This volume is slightly more gory than usual。 Not a lot, but there is blood so be warned。 Otherwise, I'm really enjoying the plot and how it ties so perfectly with xxxHolic Rei。 These two series are even more tightly bound than the original Tsubasa/Holic were! I like how the characters have grown and their relationships are slightly different from the original Tsubasa。 CLAMP has kept their development consistent with what we saw in Reservoir and carried it into World very well。 I definitely believe it。 And I like how the plots connect too! It is truly a sequel to Reservoir。And with that, on to the next volume! 。。。more

(2019 reread) I want Syaoran and Sakura to be able to meet in dreams, just onceprices and sacrifices and LOST MEMORIESanddream visitsI was concerned that certain characters wouldn't be involved with/important to TWC but I was so wrong, and so glad to be。 (2019 reread) I want Syaoran and Sakura to be able to meet in dreams, just onceprices and sacrifices and LOST MEMORIESanddream visitsI was concerned that certain characters wouldn't be involved with/important to TWC but I was so wrong, and so glad to be。 。。。more

Actually like this one better than the last volume! (The Touya/Yukito conversation might have had something to do with it because I am shipper trash。) I'm cautiously pleased and hopeful。 Bonus points for more Watanuki, although I could really do with Sakura being the patient, waiting woman at home。 Let her do something, please。 Actually like this one better than the last volume! Beautifully drawn。 Interesting story that once started I had to know what was going to happen next。 Looking forward to the next volume。

The art is gorgeous, but the story is starting to get a bit too complicated for it's own good。 The art is gorgeous, but the story is starting to get a bit too complicated for it's own good。 。。。more

I am going to have to go back and reread xxxHolic: Rei。 Rei crosses over with Tsubasa much more than I anticipated。 So, I'm kinda lost, but it's still fun to be back with Syaoran, Mokona, Kurogane, and Fai (Fai!!), even if I don't really get what's going on。 I mean, it's CLAMP after all, so I'm not surprised。 I am going to have to go back and reread xxxHolic: Rei。 Rei crosses over with Tsubasa much more than I anticipated。 So, I'm kinda lost, but it's still fun to be back with Syaoran, Mokona, Kurogane, and Fai (Fai!!), even if I don't really get what's going on。 I mean, it's CLAMP after all, so I'm not surprised。 。。。more

It's hard to review individual manga volumes。 This gave me a lot of feeeelings, but at least 90% of those feelings were nostalgia。 Is this manga even any good? I don't know, but I love the characters, so I don't even care。 It's hard to review individual manga volumes。 This gave me a lot of feeeelings, but at least 90% of those feelings were nostalgia。 Is this manga even any good? I love the idea of the characters seeing different things, though a few parts of expressing this were choppy/repetitive/sloppy。 They made their point brilliantly at the start, but that slipped a few times after。 I'm still pretty pumped about this series continuing。 I love the idea of the characters seeing different things, though a few parts of expressing this were choppy/repetitive/sloppy。 They made their point brilliantly at the start, but that slipped a few times after。 I'm still pretty pumped about this series continuing。 。。。more
