Summary

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Allen is recovering after his near death encounter and Lenalee is not doing much better after her fight with a level three akuma。 Miranda has replaced Allen on their mission to find General Cross and the fight against the akuma has left her， Lavi and Bookman all in bad shape。 The crew of the ship was worse though， almost everybody died during the attack， only Miranda's powers kept them alive。 The team arrive in Japan， which is practically ruled by the Earl， to find thatthey are up for another to Allen is recovering after his near death encounter and Lenalee is not doing much better after her fight with a level three akuma。 Miranda has replaced Allen on their mission to find General Cross and the fight against the akuma has left her， Lavi and Bookman all in bad shape。 The crew of the ship was worse though， almost everybody died during the attack， only Miranda's powers kept them alive。 The team arrive in Japan， which is practically ruled by the Earl， to find thatthey are up for another tough fight。 Allen's innocence reforms， into it's true form Crown Clown none the less， when protecting the Chinese branch and his new friends。 Now he's off again to help the team， without knowing how much trouble they are really in。 Another 3 volumes that are completely mind blowing， amazing story and art。 。。。more

Initial thoughts （1st time read）:Volume #7: 4 starsVolume #8: 3 starsVolume #9: 4 starsTotal = 3。66 stars。*Read Volumes individually first time。Latest thoughts （2nd time read）:Volume #7: 4。5 stars。 It's fun， and nice to see Allen's dedication to being an Exorcist。 Minor issues include: wondering why General Zokalo's outfit resembles an akuma， and wondering how Anita doesn't feel weirded out by sharing the same lover （General Cross） as her [now deceased] mother。Volume #8: 3。66 stars。 Mostly a bat Initial thoughts （1st time read）:Volume #7: 4 starsVolume #8: 3 starsVolume #9: 4 starsTotal = 3。66 stars。*Read Volumes individually first time。Latest thoughts （2nd time read）:Volume #7: 4。5 stars。 It's fun， and nice to see Allen's dedication to being an Exorcist。 Minor issues include: wondering why General Zokalo's outfit resembles an akuma， and wondering how Anita doesn't feel weirded out by sharing the same lover （General Cross） as her [now deceased] mother。Volume #8: 3。66 stars。 Mostly a battle between Lenalee and an akuma， a few deaths （minor characters）， no biggie。 Lavi is actually a favorite character of mine now， but I always liked Lenalee less and less as the series progressed， and I dislike her even more during my re-read of the series。 She doesn't have any real personality， and she goes on to be a speshul snowflake。 ¡¡¡GRRRR！！！ [Omnibus page number 297 spells Komui's name as Kamui。 What the heck is it with these misspelled names appearing throughout the series？！ Pick a spelling and stick with it！ I admit I was first introduced to this series through a scan site （though I legally own the whole series in paperback now 'cuz I love it so much）， and I thought the name mistakes were made by amatures translating it on their own， which I now know not to be the case since these mistakes were made in the Viz-liscensed editions。 I don't know about mistakes made in other releases， but couldn't they have cleaned up the errors in the American release？ Otherwise it makes people nitpick！！！！ DON'T YOU SEE？！？！]Volume #9: 4 stars。 The primary focus is Allen and his recovery， less of Lenalee this time around as the last two concentrated heavily on her （phew！）。Total: Rounded down （by decimals） to 4 stars overall。 Kanda disappears during these volumes， not that he was ever in the series much at this point （that changes later on， thank goodness！！！）， and ways too much Lenalee， otherwise the ratings would probably be higher。 This was really the weakest section in the series for me， so it only gets better from here。 。。。more
