Poorly written storyThe initial plot seemed good。 It was interesting, fast paced, full of promise。 But poor writing has ruined everything。 Flow of story is very poor。 Sometimes it feels like the author himself has forgotten what he had written previously。 Story is disjointed。 Writing is childish。 And the plot is extremely predictable and boring。 Just introducing an advanced alien race and combining it with mythology doesn't make a story good。 Total waste of time and money。 Poorly written storyThe initial plot seemed good。 It was interesting, fast paced, full of promise。 But poor writing has ruined everything。 Flow of story is very poor。 Sometimes it feels like the author himself has forgotten what he had written previously。 Story is disjointed。 Writing is childish。 And the plot is extremely predictable and boring。 Just introducing an advanced alien race and combining it with mythology doesn't make a story good。 Total waste of time and money。 。。。more

Shiva origins - The Son Of Ganga by Dinesh Veera Been a while I had read a mythological fiction and just when I was missing this genre got the book Shiva Origins。 The cover and the blurb make me feel like this would be an adventurous ride。 After reading the snippet which says neither man nor god, but beyond! Well to tell you a little the story is of a college student Abhay sharma who is a college student and is on a mission to uncover the secrets of the ancient chola kingdom。 But things don’t go Shiva origins - The Son Of Ganga by Dinesh Veera Been a while I had read a mythological fiction and just when I was missing this genre got the book Shiva Origins。 The cover and the blurb make me feel like this would be an adventurous ride。 After reading the snippet which says neither man nor god, but beyond! Only plot based and not character。 The characters were mostly only there for the plot to move forward and dump exposition。 I like the concept that it throws regarding the Indian Gods mythology, but half of what you want from the concept will be given to you in part 2

Manav

Very nice and interesting book。 The concept is very different, whole book is filled with thrill。 The flow and depth of story is very good。 I only gave 4 stars because of the story of Ghora and Sharddha, where the death game takes place it resembled from one of the movies and their story seems a little stretched。Overall the book is very good and one who loves to read about Indian historical books should go for it。

This book had potential to be an interesting read because of its core story that revolves around secrets of yoga but instead it turned out to be a highly predictable page turner。The language and writing is ordinary and author's desperate attempt to add a love angle is just pathetic。Moreover, bringing the concept of "aliens" in a supposedly mythological novel is cringeworthy。 Looks like author was trying to write like Ashwin Sanghi but couldn't even touch his level of research and narration。 This book had potential to be an interesting read because of its core story that revolves around secrets of yoga but instead it turned out to be a highly predictable page turner。The language and writing is ordinary and author's desperate attempt to add a love angle is just pathetic。Moreover, bringing the concept of "aliens" in a supposedly mythological novel is cringeworthy。 Looks like author was trying to write like Ashwin Sanghi but couldn't even touch his level of research and narration。 。。。more

I think the plot is very interesting but I felt the story was rushed。。。 a little build up would have been exciting, not to the point it feels like dragging but in this book the events happened so fast that before I digested something there was something else happening。。。。 might be a good thing for people who love fast pace novels 。。。
