This book stood out to me in the library because I remember reading this book as a child。 Even as a child, the theme of this book was obvious to me。 'Duck! Rabbit!' is a children's book on perspective and shows that there are two sides to every picture。 I remember being confused on whether I saw a duck or a rabbit throughout the book and found myself going back and forth。 The fact that I was able to grasp this idea on perspective even as a child shows me that this children's book is of good qual This book stood out to me in the library because I remember reading this book as a child。 Even as a child, the theme of this book was obvious to me。 'Duck! This story is an engagingly humorous optical illusion of a rabbit and duck。 The book shows that all people have different perspectives。 I enjoyed that the book embraces the differences in perspective and allow each side to be emphasized。 Overall I was very engaged with the book, and I thought that It could be used to teach many valuable lessons on identity and perspective。 Additionally I enjoyed that the illustrations depicted a humorous optical illusion。 Loved this book!

Our daughter-in-law who is a librarian reviewed this book, and it caught my attention。 Not only is the book entertaining for both children and adults, it also has an incredible message。 It would be a great one to read before discussing any political and/or social issue。 :)

Perspective

Jason

This book is a unique book that shows how different perspectives can cause different perceptions of things。 In the book two people argue over whether the animal portrayed is a rabbit or a duck。 The differentiation is a direct result of their perspective。 This could be used as a good life example that people might have different perspectives on things such as math problems or life in general, but this is okay because there is no wrong answer and all perspectives should be accepted。

Rachel

A totally cute 'visual puzzle' showing how what you see in front of you is all about your perspective。 The illustrations were adorable, the story line was sweet and straightforward and would entertain essentially any little one around - and find their parents being just as entertained while reading it。 A unique take on the traditional children's picture book。 A totally cute 'visual puzzle' showing how what you see in front of you is all about your perspective。 The illustrations were adorable, the story line was sweet and straightforward and would entertain essentially any little one around - and find their parents being just as entertained while reading it。 A unique take on the traditional children's picture book。 。。。more
