Summary

I’ve really enjoyed reading the second half of this book， the ending has been one of the best so far。 But…（PLEASE BE AWARE THAT， DESPITE I’M NOT REVEALING ANY PARTICULAR DETAIL， THE BELOW MIGHT SPOIL SOMETHING FOR SOME）The books of the series （so far） are a bit samey to me。 They all seem to follow the same main scheme， with the details changing each time: they always start during the summer holidays， when Harry is at the Dursley’s。 It starts with everything being really crap but then he manages I’ve really enjoyed reading the second half of this book， the ending has been one of the best so far。 But…（PLEASE BE AWARE THAT， DESPITE I’M NOT REVEALING ANY PARTICULAR DETAIL， THE BELOW MIGHT SPOIL SOMETHING FOR SOME）The books of the series （so far） are a bit samey to me。 They all seem to follow the same main scheme， with the details changing each time: they always start during the summer holidays， when Harry is at the Dursley’s。 It starts with everything being really crap but then he manages to leave them earlier in a quite crazy but successful way。 Then there’s the time at the school: Harry does something wrong and against the rules but he doesn’t get punished too badly because either he doesn’t get caught properly or because after all （and apart from Professor Snape） everyone loves Harry-boy。 Then there’s the quidditch cup and again， Malfoy gets in the way and plays dirty but he can’t stop Harry and his great skills as a Seeker。 Then the ending: the trio Harry-Ron-Hermione go against all possible rules and end up saving humanity （well， no， it’s not on such a large scale， but you get the point）。So I don’t know， despite the story is getting a bit more interesting and I find that some bits of the books make me giggle， I’m not sure I want to read the same thing another 4 times in order to finish the series。 I’ll see… 。。。more

Love love loved this book！！！ I loved this storyline so much and it was so interesting how protective everyone was over Harry it was pretty crazy haha。 I also adored Lupin and Harry’s friendship especially near the end。 Snapes jealousy was pretty evident in this book， particularly in the last few chapters， so his characters was so annoying throughout the story。 Overall Harry’s strength and confidence excelled in this book and I loved it！！！ Rate 5/5！！！

How many differences there are in this book compared to its - perhaps better adaptation， the film。 My quick thoughts right away : too much quidditch。 Very fine details and mysticism added to the relationship between Crookshanks and the black dog。 The last chapters inside Shrieking Shack is tremendiosly gripping and clears up so much up from what I can retrieve from the film。 An entire chapter is dedicated to unraveling the relationship to Sirius， Lupin， James， and Sirius！ I like that stuff。Many How many differences there are in this book compared to its - perhaps better adaptation， the film。 My quick thoughts right away : too much quidditch。 Very fine details and mysticism added to the relationship between Crookshanks and the black dog。 The last chapters inside Shrieking Shack is tremendiosly gripping and clears up so much up from what I can retrieve from the film。 An entire chapter is dedicated to unraveling the relationship to Sirius， Lupin， James， and Sirius！ I like that stuff。Many nice plotholesholes is solved through how Hermoine and Harry got the details from where Black resides in the last part， in comparison to the movie that fails to adress these minor details on how they got up to the tower。 The movie seems to capture the essence of this book very beautifully。 I think that the last parts are much more enthralling and much more interesting compared to the school-related ongoings in the story， but I get it's a book for kids， still。Ten years ago I was supposed to review this piece for an assignment， never finished reading the book itself though。 I really like the elements of fear and how one can deflect each his own terrors。 I really liked several quotes from this book that touched upon this subject。 Especially the conversations that goes on between pf。 Lupin and Harry when dealing with the lesser-Dementors。I am looking forward to read the fourth installment of this epic saga。The reason for giving four stars is that I actually could pick this up and opt out of nflix or any other streaming service on a frckn friday， which to me says a lot about this book， and therefore， is also a pageturner。 。。。more
