he has a stereotypical "Mexican" view of power-level wank and worship of new transformations and things。 UI represents a return to the martial arts movies that originally influenced Toriyama。 Toyo only understands huge beam attacks instead。 I'm pretty sure he would hate Hokuto no Ken。 Hell， I'm pretty sure he would hate anything from before Piccolo Jr。 in the actual Dragon Ball。。。！I'm also somewhat disappointed the manga didn't spend enough time on the smaller fights before Goku showed up， but。。。 that's kinda to be expected。 A monthly release doesn't really have enough time to do the pacing of the Ginyu Tokusentai or something。Anyway， I guess by now I don't care too much about anything in this franchise that doesn't have Toriyama's direct involvement， so I still think this volume is "entertaining enough" for what it is。。。 which is hardly different from GT or the Super DB Heroes promo anime。 There's still cool shit happening， even if a lot of it is honestly "pants-on-head。"*****cover kinda looks like Son Goku and Vegeta are aiming for Moro's dick while he tries to tell at something behind Goku。。。。*Chichi actually looking forward to watch Son Gohan fight**"Ugh。。。 This one's just airing The Kuririn Show！"*Rôshi: "I found me some tough foes。 Won't even let me grope 'em。。。 Erm， I mean， my attacks ain't hitting。"*Rôshi: "Maybe my mind's possessed by some kinda wicked energy？！"**Kuririn: "Nah， I think I know what's going on here。。。"*Bulma: "Is Tenshinhan even capable of insulting someone？"**Tenshinhan: "Y-you。。。 rockhead！！"**Chaozu: "Um， Ten， a Metal Man's head is way harder than rock。"***Chaozu: "Hey， octopus！ Yooohooo！ Does the truth hurt？"*the glasses alien chick's thighs when kicking Rôshi*the girls' very。。。 uh， "body positive" fusion form， pretty funny， but kind of the same shit as Ribrianne*17's takeout with the energy beams， propelling him into a kick like Son Goku's old "reverse Kamehame-Ha" move*Moro sharing a bit of energy with Saganbo to power him up*Saganbo grabbing 17 and Gohan by their heads and using them as flails*Goku's "ENTER" moment*18: "Tch。。。 They're not paying us enough。"*Jaco， to Saganbo: "Tch。。。 If you ask me， what you're doing now is way more pathetic than being locked up。"*Goku moving around so fast he seems invisible and can only be seen by Jaco and sensed by Moro*Moro deflecting a thrown Saganbo with finger-guns*Moro's shrug when Goku says he's next after fighting Saganbo*SSB Goku: "You're pretty sturdy， huh？ But。。。 being sturdy。。。 isn't enough to beat me。"*Saganbo foaming at the mouth from how much power Moro gives him*Goku naming "Ultra Instinct -Sign-"*Iwaza， Miza， and Kikaza on the omake page after Chapter 58*UI Sign Goku's air blasts remind me of Luffy's Gear Second "Jet" attacks， now that I'm into One Piece （even though， technically， Goku did this against Chichi in the tournament before their marriage， ages ago。。。）*Moro's little ripoff of Nappa's explosion attack*Moro's immobilizing ki bubbles*according to Whis， -Sign- is yet another stamina-draining form*Goku: "Sorry， Merus。 But a stamina balancing act during battle just isn't my style。" Seems Goku has forgotten about maintaining SSG to shoot into SSB bursts， or his experience with Kaio-Ken earlier？*Goku's angry face while charging ki in -Sign-。。。 which seems like Toyotarou not knowing how this technique is supposed to work。。。。*Goku kicking Moro's Death Ball thing out of his hand*Goku's flying/falling kick/stomp into Moro's abdomen*Goku flipping Moro with his foot after Moro grabs it*Whis sensing Vegeta's progress on Yardrat*Vegeta trying to learning Shunkan Idou to get back to Earth*power-weighted muscles and Blue toothpaste aura chunks in -Sign-， Jesus fucking Christ， Toyo， you cunt！*Moro's mouth beam*Moro bouncing Goku off the ground， catching him with the underside of his foot， and pushing down into a stomp*Pybara， speaking of Vegeta: "His achievements are the product of all his training。 In that sense， he may be a prodigy， yes。 One born of hard work。"*17 and 18's weird ki-construct combo attack*Vegeta: "I see that our time apart hasn't done a thing to fix that joke you call a face， Moro。" 。。。more

This storyline started slowly but has been picking up steam ever since。 This volume shows the best action in the saga up to this point and the exciting possibility that Vegeta may finally get his chance to shine。

2/10 starsDragon Ball Super is such a far cry from the original DB/DBZ that I really don't know why I even bother。 Firstly， DBS treats Goku like shit most of the time and insists on lionizing Vegeta。 I mean， seriously， what the heck？ I know there are factions of fans idolizing Vegeta， but let's be honest: his appeal throughout the DB and DBZ was mostly based on his development arc， from a villain to a somewhat selfish and reluctant， but hero。 Here， with Goku so diminished and whole Son Goku fami 2/10 starsDragon Ball Super is such a far cry from the original DB/DBZ that I really don't know why I even bother。 Firstly， DBS treats Goku like shit most of the time and insists on lionizing Vegeta。 I mean， seriously， what the heck？ I know there are factions of fans idolizing Vegeta， but let's be honest: his appeal throughout the DB and DBZ was mostly based on his development arc， from a villain to a somewhat selfish and reluctant， but hero。 Here， with Goku so diminished and whole Son Goku family relegated more or less to the role of furniture （Chi-Chi gets shafted so badly it's not even worth a comment） Vegeta is suddenly THE big self-made hero of the series。 It goes against the whole legacy， and really pisses me off。As for this particular volume， once again it's a filler and nothing more。 Nothing happens。 Everybody fights but it's so boring and without real stakes that the characters might've as well just lied down and napped all this time， and the result would be the same。 If you're an insomniac， take this volume with you to bed - it will lull you to sleep within first few pages。 It's gratuitous， pandering to the fans with constant regurgitation of old motifs and themes。 I'm really at the end of my patience with this series。 。。。more

Great volume but nothing particularly amazing。 Would be great to halve some lasting villains or returning heroes to intersect the stories， but I dont know if that's something we will ever see （even into the Granolah arc）。Just let someone besides the main duo shine already， bring back the other universes， make the Angel's and Zeno important to the story somehow， use Broly or Jiren， fuck with the timeline and get Frieza manipulating。 "Newest biggest bad" is getting tired， but god damn the fights a Great volume but nothing particularly amazing。 Would be great to halve some lasting villains or returning heroes to intersect the stories， but I dont know if that's something we will ever see （even into the Granolah arc）。Just let someone besides the main duo shine already， bring back the other universes， make the Angel's and Zeno important to the story somehow， use Broly or Jiren， fuck with the timeline and get Frieza manipulating。 "Newest biggest bad" is getting tired， but god damn the fights and transformations and character development are super strong in the past few volumes 。。。more

Not too much happening in this volume but I’m grateful that the dragon ball mangas don’t do fillers like the animes did。 Goku arrives just in time and goes up against Moro， only to not be strong enough （for now right？）。 Vegeta shows up right at the end and I’m actually glad to see him。 I’ve never liked Vegeta much in dbz but I really like him in super。 He still is annoying with his competitive side （especially towards Goku） but he seems like a better man all around in this series。
