I really enjoyed reading this book。 It is all about being yourself and being yourself is being the best you can be。 The fox wants to be a tiger then realizes he is good just the way he is as a fox。 Its the repetition of words that could help younger students a lot too。

I really liked the message behind this book。 That no matter who you want to be or who you think is better being you is awesome and there's always someone out there that looks at you wishing they could change。 Its important to be true to yourself while appreciating others around you。 I really liked the message behind this book。 That no matter who you want to be or who you think is better being you is awesome and there's always someone out there that looks at you wishing they could change。 Its important to be true to yourself while appreciating others around you。 。。。more

Sly, wonderful humor。 The kind of book that'll leave kids with all kinds of questions about themselves, where they fit in the world, and how imagination works。 Sly, wonderful humor。 The kind of book that'll leave kids with all kinds of questions about themselves, where they fit in the world, and how imagination works。 。。。more

A good picture helps students to accept who they are, finding their own advantages。

A celebration of imaginative play, pretending to be something else。 "I am not Turtle。 I am Race Car," says Race Car。 "I zip and zoom"When the rain washes away Fox's stripes he is sad until squirrel is so excited to see a fox。 "Foxes are big! Foxes are fast!Foxes are sneaky!Foxes are the best!"Repeating exactly what Fox thought tigers are from the beginning。 A celebration of imaginative play, pretending to be something else。 "I am not Turtle。 I am Race Car," says Race Car。 "I zip and zoom"When the rain washes away Fox's stripes he is sad until squirrel is so excited to see a fox。 "Foxes are big! This was a super cute book for my beginner reader! We both giggled while he read it。 I love that it taught dressing up as someone else is fun, but it's also great to be yourself。 This was a super cute book for my beginner reader! I really enjoyed this children's picture book。 I thought that it was a great way to show that you are special just the way you are and that you'd don't need to be something or someone that you think is cool。 For example, the fox tries to be a tiger thinking they are really cool but in the end the fox realizes there are cool things about him being himself which I think is a great lesson for children! This short story carries an important message for everyone--that there is nothing better than being yourself。 To go along with this important message, there are simple yet fun illustrations to look at。

Fox wants to be a tiger! But in this book he, and kids, learn that its best to be yourself, and to play to your own strengths。

Fox the tiger is a great children's book。 It is hilarious as the fox just wants to be a tiger, I'm sure everyone can relate to waning to be something else。 It is very entertaining and a great read for a new reader。 Fox the tiger is a great children's book。 It is hilarious as the fox just wants to be a tiger, I'm sure everyone can relate to waning to be something else。 It is very entertaining and a great read for a new reader。 。。。more

Pre K- KA very good story that both encourages imagination and tells young people that they are good as they are。 The story doesn’t condemn the characters for wanting to be different but shows the indifference of the characters once they go back to normal。 It also shows that other see them as great in their own ways which I love。

My 7 month old loves this series。

This book was fun to read because it teaches the importance of friendship and being comfortable with who you are。

Donovan Turney

I thought this book was very refreshing to read in a sense, the message of this book I believe was that it’s hard to be and act like someone you are not, as well as being able to be comfortable in your own skin。 I think there is a lot that can be taken away from this book and many of these aspects I try to apply into my own life when it comes to being exactly who I was born to be。

This book teaches young readers the importance of loving and embracing who you are。 After thinking of how fantastic it would be to turn into a tiger, fox turns himself into one by painting stripes onto himself。 Soon, his friends are joining in on the fun。 Turtle wants to be a race car and rabbit wants to be a robot, but a rainstorm ruins their fun。。。 and takes all of the paint with it。 While fox is sad, he meets a small little squirrel who is in awe of how wonderful foxes are, and Fox realizes j This book teaches young readers the importance of loving and embracing who you are。 After thinking of how fantastic it would be to turn into a tiger, fox turns himself into one by painting stripes onto himself。 Soon, his friends are joining in on the fun。 Turtle wants to be a race car and rabbit wants to be a robot, but a rainstorm ruins their fun。。。 and takes all of the paint with it。 While fox is sad, he meets a small little squirrel who is in awe of how wonderful foxes are, and Fox realizes just how special he really is。 。。。more

Featured in a grandma reads session。One of the best secrets of life is to "act as if"。 。 。 。you want to be a tiger? Make it so, No。 1。 Make it so。Charming book taking a deeply held desire through its process, start to finish。 A sad ending? Nah。 Not so much。 Just makes one ready for the next deeply held desire to get on deck。 Break out a new color of paint, and costumes to try out。All ears were mine for this one。 Chuckles all around at the end。 Featured in a grandma reads session。One of the best secrets of life is to "act as if"。 。 。 。you want to be a tiger? This Ted Geisel Award Winner (2019) shows fox, turtle and rabbit as they face their own insecurities to be something they perceive to better than themselves or their assets。 Fox wishes he were a tiger。 Turtle wishes to be a race car。 Rabbit wants to be a robot。 Remember that your true self is your best self! The good humor and vibrant illustrations make this a fun-filled read, written and illustrated by Corey R。 Tabor

I read this book for one of my school librarian grad courses, and it was a really sweet story about friendship and how being yourself is really the best you you can be。
