Good read on finances and life。 While I don’t agree with all the advice, guidance, and strategies I do think everyone can benefit from the vast amount of knowledge explored。

I like this book because the author brings examples from different successful leaders who were small players and pioneers to open up about money。 I like this book for the description and anecdotes about what makes money possible for all。 I dislike this book for the link sometimes to US only tools in money。 I recommend this book to all curious on learning or improving money awareness from top down level。 I would read this book again。

Fatma Sajwani

Great read ! though its probably less useful if you are not in the US given how deep it dives into the taxes and retirement season

Not my favorite kind of money books, this focuses on classical cases of people having a salary, retirement accounts, life insurance。 And doesn’t consider entrepreneurs and high growth and value generators in general。Some good advice though for people in that situation。

5 stars for the actual content1 star for all the fluff/teasers/self-promotion/repeatingThis book motivates you, as Robbins is known to do。 It's written to make you believe you can do whatever you want, which he does well。 Nearly all of the online tools mentioned in the book no longer work, which dates the book although it's only 7 years old。 There is no app。 There are no free websites that do this stuff for you without having someone contact you。 Even the donation site to round-up credit card tr 5 stars for the actual content1 star for all the fluff/teasers/self-promotion/repeatingThis book motivates you, as Robbins is known to do。 It's written to make you believe you can do whatever you want, which he does well。 Nearly all of the online tools mentioned in the book no longer work, which dates the book although it's only 7 years old。 There is no app。 There are no free websites that do this stuff for you without having someone contact you。 Even the donation site to round-up credit card transactions to feed hungry kids, that doesn't exist。 Many testimonials to his friends' websites/companies are found throughout the book。A clif notes version of this book would be badass, like, the epitome of finance books, really。The first 1/4 of the book is for people who know nothing, it burns into you the importance of long-term compound interest, and how to start, and that you NEED to start early。 Valid。 Doesn't apply to me but is a good read for those new to managing their finances。The middle is the meat & potatoes for me。 Asset allocation。 Tax dodges。 WHERE to put your money, how to do it safely, how/when to accept risk。 How to set REALISTIC concrete retirement goals & how to reach them。 This was the part of the book I found wildly valuable。 (finding my magic retirement number & age is what I'm strugging with, this book helped tremendously with that)The end of the book is catered to uber-wealthy people, shortened versions of inverviews, and talks of giving back, I could have skipped everything after the Dialo/Swenson allocation buckets and been just fine。Glad I read it, but cut back on the fluff and dated website references。 。。。more

A must if you want to create great financial habits。 If you read other reviews where people complain about the author saying many times: "We'll see this later" or "I'll show you later" don't mind about it, it is just his way of writing。 I really recommend it, the sooner you read, the richer you'll become。 A must if you want to create great financial habits。 If you read other reviews where people complain about the author saying many times: "We'll see this later" or "I'll show you later" don't mind about it, it is just his way of writing。 I really recommend it, the sooner you read, the richer you'll become。 。。。more

A bit aggressive as always, but read the book。 If not the book just subscribe to his podcast。 There is a reason this amazing human is so successful。 Tony Robins is one of the people who are changing the face of our planet for better

I really enjoyed how he shared information about how to invest and save money on fees。

A little too wordy/long-winded。

This book was a good primer for investing strategy but has a little too much huffing and puffing for my liking。 It is 600 pages long but could easily be 400。 Additionally, I wasn’t a big fan of the “this is all the great ways I donate my money” sprinkling throughout the book。 It felt a bit overbearing at times。

Got the 18 disk audio CD from my library - there is NO way I could have gotten through this book and I am an avid reader。 It has some good content but it 95% motivational and 5% financial planning content。 Was pretty disappointed。 Have enjoyed his other books more。 Get ready to get excited to give your money away and to do your investing yourself but learning exactly what to do - you’ll have to read elsewhere。

Interesting read with a few good tips and reminders about making money and explaining the share market。 He talks about how this book is great for people all over the world。 But really… maybe like 25% is? 25% is Tony hyping himself up and about half the book felt more geared towards US specifically。Overall okay but way too long for the amount I actually got from it。

Hard pass。 Read “I will teach you to be rich” by Ramit Sethi instead。 Much more useful information (and even the same information as this book) but condensed into a much more digestible and engaging size。 Literally everything I read here I learned before in Sethi’s book which didn’t come with NEARLY as much fluff and self promotion。 This book felt like a massive advertisement for Tony’s apps and business。 That’s not to say there isn’t good information here, but it’s like trying to dig for gold - Hard pass。 Read “I will teach you to be rich” by Ramit Sethi instead。 Much more useful information (and even the same information as this book) but condensed into a much more digestible and engaging size。 Literally everything I read here I learned before in Sethi’s book which didn’t come with NEARLY as much fluff and self promotion。 This book felt like a massive advertisement for Tony’s apps and business。 That’s not to say there isn’t good information here, but it’s like trying to dig for gold - it’s there, but damn is it hard to find。 Seriously, save yourself the headache。 。。。more

I found this book comprehensive and insightful。 There were relatively few areas that I disagreed with, other than at times feeling like Tony thought he had the answers。 I find that finances like any other area of life that the more you know; the more you realize that you still have so much to learn and understand。 I am so grateful that I have been able to serve clients with guiding them with their finances and being able to bring some peace to an area of life that frightens so many。My favorite p I found this book comprehensive and insightful。 There were relatively few areas that I disagreed with, other than at times feeling like Tony thought he had the answers。 I find that finances like any other area of life that the more you know; the more you realize that you still have so much to learn and understand。 I am so grateful that I have been able to serve clients with guiding them with their finances and being able to bring some peace to an area of life that frightens so many。My favorite part of the book was clearly the end, where Tony discusses giving and that real wealth comes in the giving and understanding of abundance。 We are so blessed。 Thank you Tony for trying to teach people how to achieve financial freedom and have peace about their finances。 I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into composing and writing this book。 。。。more

It was good but lacked some of the information that is relevant to Australia。 Consider this investment mix, used by Ray Dalio: Put 7。5 percent of your assets in gold and 7。5 percent in commodities。 Gold and commodities are often good investments, even during periods of high inflation。 Then put 30 percent in stocks, especially during seasons of high growth in which you can earn more。 Finally, put 55 percent into US bonds, which are very low-risk

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 If you really have no plan about investing this book definitely helps。It gives a nice overview of what can really be done。 In my opinion it is really US oriented and a part of about the interview did not really clicked with me。 I was expecting a bit more technical part it is not the case。It is mostly about bringing the point that anyone can invest and Money is not an end but a mean to happiness。 Some parts are really subject to critics like the theory that "Technology will save us all"。 I apprec If you really have no plan about investing this book definitely helps。It gives a nice overview of what can really be done。 In my opinion it is really US oriented and a part of about the interview did not really clicked with me。 I was expecting a bit more technical part it is not the case。It is mostly about bringing the point that anyone can invest and Money is not an end but a mean to happiness。 Some parts are really subject to critics like the theory that "Technology will save us all"。 I appreciated the more Tony part with motivation paragraph and importance of giving。 By trying to mix the genres of motivation, How to and Interview。 It took me 3 years to read as I was never really hooked。 I appreciated the book I will probably give it :) 。。。more
