Idk what so say about this book, I got so bored and I didn't like how the author choose to represent the Latinos in this book。 I'm also not sure about the rating but for now 2 stars seems good to me🕴🏻 Idk what so say about this book, I got so bored and I didn't like how the author choose to represent the Latinos in this book。 I'm also not sure about the rating but for now 2 stars seems good to me🕴🏻 。。。more

I liked this book。 It just made me sad lmao。 But the character development was soooo freaking good。 It was also good at explaining what trauma can do to you and how you have the power to overcome it。

This book had the right idea but the execution was a little… well it was a little off。 Don’t get me wrong I really enjoyed this book The romance was cute and there were moments that were touching。I think the writer tried to make this book one that had its readers crying but it really wasn’t like that。 I found a lot of repetition which was annoying。 The plot was extremely good; beautiful even, but it just wasn’t presented right; which to be honest i wish it was because the story definitely had po This book had the right idea but the execution was a little… well it was a little off。 Don’t get me wrong I really enjoyed this book The romance was cute and there were moments that were touching。I think the writer tried to make this book one that had its readers crying but it really wasn’t like that。 I found a lot of repetition which was annoying。 The plot was extremely good; beautiful even, but it just wasn’t presented right; which to be honest i wish it was because the story definitely had potential。 At times I felt like Armentrout wasn’t sure about what she wanted her story to revolve around and it so it all kinda got warped and lost it’s rhythm。That being said, I still like this book and her book If There Was No Tomorrow is definitely one of my favourites and I still have to read the Lux series so can’t say I’m giving up on Jen anytime soon😁 。。。more

⭐️⭐️⭐️。75 / 5I really wanted to love this book because I'm a fan of Jennifer L。 Armentrout。 This book was just not the one for me。 I found it to be rather shallow and too long for what it actually was about。it lacked the usual Jennifer L。 Armentrout bantering and humor。 The problem with forever was supposed to be sad but idkI think I might have outgrown YA。 but on the other hand I normally really enjoy YA。 this book just didn't do it for me。what I loved about it, was that it's fast-paced and you ⭐️⭐️⭐️。75 / 5I really wanted to love this book because I'm a fan of Jennifer L。 Armentrout。 This book was just not the one for me。 I found it to be rather shallow and too long for what it actually was about。it lacked the usual Jennifer L。 Armentrout bantering and humor。 The problem with forever was supposed to be sad but idkI think I might have outgrown YA。 but on the other hand I normally really enjoy YA。 this book just didn't do it for me。what I loved about it, was that it's fast-paced and you cannot put it down。 unfortunately I sometimes cringed when Rider and Mallory talked to each other。My favorite quotes"What I was lacking wasn't thinner thighs or a flatter stomach。 It was courage。" (p。88)"I。。。um, I don't like driving with loud music on。 And I don't like。。。 and I don't like gossiping bitches。" (p。109)"Forever was something we all took for granted, but the problem with forever was that it really didn't exist。" (p。397)"。。。 because how in the world could I fight for him when he wouldn't even fight for himself?" i loved the characters but the writing was quite awful, there were so many unnessesary monologues and the plot could have had more substance

I finished this yesterday & the characters are still stuck in my head。 It wasn’t a “feel-good” story but it was powerful and quite raw at times。 The backstory & connection between Mal & Rider gave a heart-wrenching beginning to the story that had me rooting for them the whole way through。

- I was in a reading slump when I first read it so i didn't enjoy it alot-I felt like Ryder and Mallory were in love with the idea of being in love rather than loving each other-There was no plot。 After reading a few hundred pages, i was constantly looking for the plot-The characters had no chemistry。 I loved the side characters more - I was in a reading slump when I first read it so i didn't enjoy it alot-I felt like Ryder and Mallory were in love with the idea of being in love rather than loving each other-There was no plot。 After reading a few hundred pages, i was constantly looking for the plot-The characters had no chemistry。 I loved the side characters more 。。。more

I think this is a book everyone needs to read at least once in their lifetime because it was that good and that meaningful。 It’s about caring about other people but making sure you look after yourself too, it’s about making progress it’s about love and making sure you’re truly living since you’ve been blessed with this life and that to see your privilege and make sure your making the most of it because loads of people out there millions of people aren’t blessed they don’t get to live and we do。 I think this is a book everyone needs to read at least once in their lifetime because it was that good and that meaningful。 It’s about caring about other people but making sure you look after yourself too, it’s about making progress it’s about love and making sure you’re truly living since you’ve been blessed with this life and that to see your privilege and make sure your making the most of it because loads of people out there millions of people aren’t blessed they don’t get to live and we do。 Everyone should take that lesson from this book 。。。more

A 3-star read, overall, with a 3。5-star ending that was chock-full of character development, honesty (i。e。 tough truths and raw vulnerability), and life lessons。 I was bawling by the end, but rest assured they were happy tears。That being said I wasn't a huge fan of Rider or Mallory (especially Mallory)。 Rider didn't respect his girlfriend, he didn't care about succeeding in school, and he got involved with illegal business。 Mallory also didn't respect Rider's girlfriend and she was annoyingly sp A 3-star read, overall, with a 3。5-star ending that was chock-full of character development, honesty (i。e。 tough truths and raw vulnerability), and life lessons。 I was bawling by the end, but rest assured they were happy tears。That being said I wasn't a huge fan of Rider or Mallory (especially Mallory)。 Rider didn't respect his girlfriend, he didn't care about succeeding in school, and he got involved with illegal business。 Mallory also didn't respect Rider's girlfriend and she was annoyingly spineless。 She had a traumatic past -- understood -- but I just couldn't completely empathize with her。 And I HATED being in her head 24/7 (at one point, a little past the 50% mark, I wanted to DNF this)。 She overthought EVERYTHING, which meant WE had to, as well。 Her dialogue was sweet, but not at all witty。And, man, Rosa and Carl made my blood boil。 They were overprotective, frustratingly stubborn, and did not read situations correctly。 They always had a misguided opinion and they were as much a barrier as they were a help when it came to Mallory's growth。 On the flip side, I loved Jayden and Hector! They were friendly, inclusive, fun, and flirty。 If they had their own books, I'd read them! Those are most of the thoughts I have at the moment。 This was an addictive read with an interesting plot, hence the 3 stars。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This book was so good, it's really fascinating reading a book where the MC has had a troubled past。 I loved how she learned and grew as a person and eventually she could stand in front of her class and read a speech。 My baby Rider😭 and poor Jayden。 Those boys deserved so much more than what they got。 Life is bs but your past doesn't define you。 This book was so good, it's really fascinating reading a book where the MC has had a troubled past。 I loved how she learned and grew as a person and eventually she could stand in front of her class and read a speech。 My baby Rider😭 and poor Jayden。 Those boys deserved so much more than what they got。 Life is bs but your past doesn't define you。 。。。more

I was really debating between 4⭐️ and 5⭐️ but I decided to go with 5⭐️。 Although there’s a lot of thing I maybe would’ve done differently with this story, in a way I wouldn’t change them either。 Idk I have a lot of emotions going on right now。 The message this story tells is absolutely beautiful & I feel such a strong connection to these characters。 I’m sad there isn’t more to this book
