4 stars I enjoyed this trilogy。 I am not going to review each book as I binged them and I can’t remember exactly what was revealed when。Initially， in book one， I wasn’t overly keen on this author’s writing style– I found the first few chapters a little hard to read， there was a lot of words but not much sense but， I persevered and I am very glad that I did as by the end of this book I couldn’t put it down！I don’t know if it is because it’s been a long time since I’ve sat and read a book but I d 4 stars I enjoyed this trilogy。 I am not going to review each book as I binged them and I can’t remember exactly what was revealed when。Initially， in book one， I wasn’t overly keen on this author’s writing style– I found the first few chapters a little hard to read， there was a lot of words but not much sense but， I persevered and I am very glad that I did as by the end of this book I couldn’t put it down！I don’t know if it is because it’s been a long time since I’ve sat and read a book but I didn’t pre-empt ANY of the plot twists and each one was captivating。 The entire trilogy was executed and flowed so well and I didn’t feel that it was padded out unnecessarily。I’ve been waiting for a good Mafia read for a while and Rina Kent is an author I always seem to skip over – no idea why！ I will be reading more from her。 。。。more

I like it although Rina Kent’s story could be somewhat repetitive。 Sometimes I really don’t get how Lia manages to like Adrians dark side。 If this was real， I’m pretty sure this would not be happening。 But Adrian with Jeremy is so sweet。 My eyes became hearts。 I wish there was more of Jeremy with his parents and bonding with them。 The ending was probably the best in this book although I shaved it was longer。 Winter isn’t particularly my favorite character but Raj or whatever his name is， like I I like it although Rina Kent’s story could be somewhat repetitive。 Sometimes I really don’t get how Lia manages to like Adrians dark side。 If this was real， I’m pretty sure this would not be happening。 But Adrian with Jeremy is so sweet。 My eyes became hearts。 I wish there was more of Jeremy with his parents and bonding with them。 The ending was probably the best in this book although I shaved it was longer。 Winter isn’t particularly my favorite character but Raj or whatever his name is， like I don’t get why she is wary of him the most it why he “hates her” more than others。 I wish the climax could be longer。 It was entirely rushed and Adrian acknowledged his feelings was too fast when he just rejected to give her his heart。 But then there was papa， the notorious boss of the Lorenzo mafia。 He was so sweet towards his illegitimate daughter。 The part where he “begged” Lia to call him papa 🥺。 h remembered H and decided to pursue him ty the uttermost。 Family was happy until H was discovered to kill the mayor that Bratva approved。 Sentenced to death so he decided to sacrifice for family and meet em be safe。 Lia went to her father for help and he agreed。 h got kidnapped by her “BFF” and almost died but H save her 。。。more
