Does not advance the plot but does give us Mey-Rin’s backstory。 Not as much Sebastian as I would like （and after such a long wait！） but still solid。

Melanjutkan vol sebelumnya， Maylene dan Lin menyusup ke kediaman Baron siapaitu sebagai bagian dari rencana Ciel untuk menghancurkan Undertaker dan Ciel yg satu lagi。 Di arc ini ada flashback latar belakang Maylene sebelum jadi maid di keluarga Phantomhive。 Aaak。。。 aku suka bagian ini。 Sebastian dan Ciel ni memang pinter banget mengambil kesetiaan orang 😘

Black Butler est mon manga préféré et de loin donc je manque totalement de partialité à chaque nouveau tome qui sort et que je lis。 Celui-ci n'est pas un coup de cœur， mais ça reste un tome incroyable。Ce livre revient sur le passé de May-Linn， la femme de chambre de Ciel Phantomhive， son enfance et comment elle est rentrée au service de ce dernier。 Le but de ce tome est d'expliquer pourquoi elle est fidèle à son maître et qu'elle ne va pas accepter la proposition de changer de camp qu'on lui a f Black Butler est mon manga préféré et de loin donc je manque totalement de partialité à chaque nouveau tome qui sort et que je lis。 Celui-ci n'est pas un coup de cœur， mais ça reste un tome incroyable。Ce livre revient sur le passé de May-Linn， la femme de chambre de Ciel Phantomhive， son enfance et comment elle est rentrée au service de ce dernier。 Le but de ce tome est d'expliquer pourquoi elle est fidèle à son maître et qu'elle ne va pas accepter la proposition de changer de camp qu'on lui a faite dans le tome 29。C'est simple， les tomes de Black Butler sont rangés avec moi dans deux catégories， ceux qui construisent l'arc narratif qui sont généralement des coups de cœur。 Et ceux qui sont des tomes de transition ou le passé de personnages secondaires。 Ils restent très bons mais j'ai moins le sentiment d'avancer。 Vous l'avez compris ce tome est dans la deuxième catégorie。Ce tome est très prenant et je retrouve bien le charme de Black Butler c’est mélangé l’horreur， la dureté de la vie， la violence extrême… Et le côté léger et l’humour qui fonctionne toujours。 J’ai donc pu retrouver l’ambiance que j’affectionne tout particulièrement。En plus l’histoire de May-Linn était intéressante， mais surtout elle se lit toute seule， je n’ai eu aucun mal à le lire， je l’ai lu d’une traite。Si vous aimez les mangas， que vous n'avez pas peur de lire des sujets difficiles et que les scènes violentes ne vous font pas peur je vous recommande chaudement Black Butler。 。。。more

I was slightly confused during the first pages， it's been a while since the last volume and on top of that， I've been re-reading the series from the beginning， so everything is merrily mixed in my head。 :D But after the initial confusion， I enjoyed this volume a lot。 I might've said this about the vol。 29 and I'll say it again， it's nice that Mei Rin is getting a spotlight and backstory。 The Phantomhive manor's servants have their quirks and skills but have been mostly comedic reliefs， so a litt I was slightly confused during the first pages， it's been a while since the last volume and on top of that， I've been re-reading the series from the beginning， so everything is merrily mixed in my head。 :D But after the initial confusion， I enjoyed this volume a lot。 I might've said this about the vol。 29 and I'll say it again， it's nice that Mei Rin is getting a spotlight and backstory。 The Phantomhive manor's servants have their quirks and skills but have been mostly comedic reliefs， so a little change is welcome。The volume is a flashback， telling a tale of an assassination attempt and a poor kid getting entangled in with a mafia。Best scene: Sebastian and a ruined teapot。 。。。more

Full review to come。The recent arc has been such a blur and honestly I stopped giving a crap about this book a while ago。 I'm just sticking around to see what happens to Ciel。 Yana Toboso just panders to yaoi fangirls and shota complex weirdos now and the story stopped making sense since the Emerald Witch arc。 I'm going to be re-reading the Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji volumes I read before and review them all， since the reviews section is just full of people defending this trash of a series。 I can Full review to come。The recent arc has been such a blur and honestly I stopped giving a crap about this book a while ago。 I'm just sticking around to see what happens to Ciel。 Yana Toboso just panders to yaoi fangirls and shota complex weirdos now and the story stopped making sense since the Emerald Witch arc。 I'm going to be re-reading the Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji volumes I read before and review them all， since the reviews section is just full of people defending this trash of a series。 I can't believe I wasted my time with this series as a kid。 It's no longer a good series anymore and hasn't been since maybe volume 16 and I wish a new writer would talk over。If Toboso is still writing for the shonen audience and in the way they are typically written this is most likely to be the final arc，if she able to wrap up who killed Ciel's parents and servants and sold him and if not then she might write one last arc。 This current arc has been her longest arc and it even has a mention of Ciel's twin in the Green Witch arc。 I think the fact that Toboso was eager to add a twin out of nowhere proves she's ending the story soon，and as someone who's a regular shonen manga reader I can tell usually tell when the writers are about to end the series。 Kishimoto had done similar things when ending his manga and various TV shows has done the same。Edit: I've seem to offended a Fujoshi over my review。 。。。more

Wspaniale było w końcu dowiedzieć się czegoś więcej o Mey-Lin。 Bawi mnie， jak bardzo widać， których rzeczy autorka wcześniej nie zaplanowała - jakie są rozbieżności w stosunku do pierwszych tomów。Czekam teraz z niecierpliwością na dalsze wydarzenia。No i wygląda na to， że poznamy w najbliższym czasie po kolei historię każdego bohatera， a przynajmniej mam taką nadzieję。 Trochę to pewnie jednak potrwa zanim nowe tomiki pojawią się w Polsce。
