This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Ok spoilers，But let me just start w the fact that I love this series。 It was a fun read and we love an enemies to lovers situation。 However， my big problem with this book is that Juliette decides she wants to be in charge of everything。 How is that better？ What about a democracy Juliette？ Is it really better to have another person in charge of everything？ There’s still a supreme leader！ You don’t know literally anything about the world you are 17 and have been locked up for years。 This makes no Ok spoilers，But let me just start w the fact that I love this series。 It was a fun read and we love an enemies to lovers situation。 However， my big problem with this book is that Juliette decides she wants to be in charge of everything。 How is that better？ What about a democracy Juliette？ Is it really better to have another person in charge of everything？ There’s still a supreme leader！ You don’t know literally anything about the world you are 17 and have been locked up for years。 This makes no sense。 For this reason I really don’t want to read the second trilogy， bc this is just too far to suspend my disbelief or whatever bc why would we all be chill w a 17 year old who knows nothing about government leading。 She doesn’t even say how the heck she thinks anything will change with her in charge instead of Anderson。 How are you going to feed everyone Juliette？ What is your political ideology？ I know the book is not about politics and it’s ya but if you are going to assume control pls have a plan All in all， I’m frustrated but I love Warner and julliette and Kenji so I guess I’ll forgive 。。。more

If THIS was how the other two books were written， I would have loved them more。 No weird creative writing style， just cute banter， great tension， and a solid end to a good story。 I haven’t decided if I want to continue the series， but I thoroughly enjoyed how this first half ended。

there isn’t a single bad thing i can say about this book。 the plot， the character development， the SCENES！！！ i loved loved LOVED this book。 juliette and warner have my absolute heart and i wish i had someone like kenji in my life。 i love this book so much and it is by far my favourite book of this series。

，，Ignite Me’’ by Tahereh Mafii is a third book in the series called ，，Shatter Me’’。 Juliette Ferras grows a spine and finally decides to take over the corrupt government to establish peace across the continent。 With the help of her remaining friends， she is unstoppable。In my opinion， it was the best book in the series， not only characters improved for the better， but it also improved on the writing （even though I still found issues in it）。 Since the first book， it stopped focusing on dull and un ，，Ignite Me’’ by Tahereh Mafii is a third book in the series called ，，Shatter Me’’。 Juliette Ferras grows a spine and finally decides to take over the corrupt government to establish peace across the continent。 With the help of her remaining friends， she is unstoppable。In my opinion， it was the best book in the series， not only characters improved for the better， but it also improved on the writing （even though I still found issues in it）。 Since the first book， it stopped focusing on dull and unimportant details， which I very much enjoyed。 I enjoyed Juliette’s character development。 Her character was far more bearable than in the second book of the series， but she still was naïve （we can see that when she announced herself as the new Supreme Commander without any political or military knowledge essential for this position）。 The worldbuilding was also great， but that’s about it。The weakest part of the book was the unnecessary romantic drama， that not only bothered readers but also the characters in the book， and the power system。 Even though the explanation of the powers was believable and I loved how it was explained， I couldn’t understand why so many people had them。 Lily’s and Winston’s powers could have been erased from the book and it wouldn’t make it any different。 I hate overpowered characters and it bothered me that Juliette became invincible and Warner didn’t suffer and consequences （Warner already mastered some of the powers even when he never used them before。 We see it the way he took invisibility from Kenji， which took him years to master or psychokinesis from Castle） I think that if I was younger I would have enjoyed this series way more， but I can see someone my age enjoying it as well。 。。。more
