Tanjiro has finished his training, and it is now time to head out and live up to his new role as a Demon Slayer。 As he continues to hunt the demons down, he is also looking for a specific demon, the one who killed everyone in his family other than his sister, who was turned into a demon herself by it。His first lead is found in a nearby town, where young girls have been disappearing。 With his specialized sense of scent, Tanjiro is able to track down the horrible demon hunting the girls。 It turns Tanjiro has finished his training, and it is now time to head out and live up to his new role as a Demon Slayer。 As he continues to hunt the demons down, he is also looking for a specific demon, the one who killed everyone in his family other than his sister, who was turned into a demon herself by it。His first lead is found in a nearby town, where young girls have been disappearing。 With his specialized sense of scent, Tanjiro is able to track down the horrible demon hunting the girls。 It turns out the demon, like most is horribly disfigured。 It is going to take all of his trainign with Urokodaki to beat this one, and along the way he might just get a few clues about his personal mission。This really is such a fun manga series。 Tanjiro is so interesting, and the mystery surrounding his sister's status as a demon。 She seems capable of controlling her desire to feed on humans and actually seems to not only want to protect him, but is willing to help as he battles other demons。I am defintiely looking forward to reading the next book in the series。 。。。more

I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on this series for so long!!! It feels like I’m reading a classic 90s manga series and I am here for it。 It is giving me major InuYasha/YuYu Hakusho vibes。

the amount of action that has been introduced is a lot and i love that fact。 tanjiro is just, such a *kind* guy。 makes me emotional for some reason honestly。 we’ve also already been introduced to the Big Bad, which i don’t mind, but i do hope there won’t be a Bigger Bad after the Big Bad is defeated like other mangas and animes tend to do。 all in all, an amazing read。 4 stars from me (:

I really really really really loved reading this book。 I loved reading this book after the first one。 I think that this book was funny and sad and everyone should read the book。 "Kimetsu no Yaiba" is the best manga, and everyone should read it。 This book can make many people cry, and can make everyone laugh。 I think that everyone should read this book "Kimetsu no Yaiba" to continue on Tanjiro and Nezuko's journey。 I really really really really loved reading this book。 I loved reading this book after the first one。 I think that this book was funny and sad and everyone should read the book。 "Kimetsu no Yaiba" is the best manga, and everyone should read it。 This book can make many people cry, and can make everyone laugh。 I think that everyone should read this book "Kimetsu no Yaiba" to continue on Tanjiro and Nezuko's journey。 。。。more

3。5 Stars。 I'm glad we got introduced to the big villain so early on, I'm interested to learn more about him。 And we did get some more info that maybe Tanjiro's dad was also a slayer after him? 3。5 Stars。 I'm glad we got introduced to the big villain so early on, I'm interested to learn more about him。 And we did get some more info that maybe Tanjiro's dad was also a slayer after him? 。。。more

Excellent second volume。 The story picks up right where the last volume left us, Tanjiro has defeated the demon who consumed every student Urokodaki sent and although a sense of triumph permeates the air because he lived and now can become a Demon Slayer to help Nezuko, sadness settles deep in his heart as he sees this irrational creature, who lost its humanity and innocence probably in the same fashion Nezuko did, turn into ashes and disappear without knowing redemption。 I mean with an opening Excellent second volume。 The story picks up right where the last volume left us, Tanjiro has defeated the demon who consumed every student Urokodaki sent and although a sense of triumph permeates the air because he lived and now can become a Demon Slayer to help Nezuko, sadness settles deep in his heart as he sees this irrational creature, who lost its humanity and innocence probably in the same fashion Nezuko did, turn into ashes and disappear without knowing redemption。 I mean with an opening so heartbreaking it only meant good things were coming, and I was pleased when they did。 Our guy Tanjiro got his first two jobs as a Demon Slayer and on the way he got to meet some interesting characters, one in particular very crucial to the story because he is our main villain, the one who killed Tanjiro’s family and made Nezuko a demon, Kibutsuji。 Again I love the art style, because it’s different。 You know how many times the art is way too refined even in the comedic breaks, but Gotougue mixes dramatically drawn characters with goofy drawn characters。 And sometimes the entire panel is goofy and that’s okay because it gives the series charm and each character a personality。 The only problem I had with this volume is that sometimes the actions panels seem a little bit choppy, like I said in my review of the first volume。 I really wish they had a more stylistic flow。 But other than that I loved this volume and for that reason I’m giving it 4。5/5 stars。 。。。more

Great volume。 (view spoiler)[I enjoyed how the overarching quest is to help Nezuko return to being human and how we get introduced to the main antagonist right off the bat。 Finally, having characters break this world's perceived conventions of who they are so early on opens a reader's mind to a wide range of possibilities within the series moving forward。 (hide spoiler)] Great volume。 (view spoiler)[I enjoyed how the overarching quest is to help Nezuko return to being human and how we get introduced to the main antagonist right off the bat。 Finally, having characters break this world's perceived conventions of who they are so early on opens a reader's mind to a wide range of possibilities within the series moving forward。 (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

Tanjiro, the hero of this story, receives his first mission from the Demon Slayer Corps。 Also, he learns who the source of the demons is and confronts this individual。 It felt like there was more action in this second volume than the first one since there are no training scenes。

this one really got interesting as we got to see the main demon Tanjiro has been searching out and got a far better understanding for how his abilities have increased through his training。 He's a formidable warrior, but we didn't really appreciate that until this part of the story where he faces off with several high-level demons。 His sister continues to be a character that I just adore。 She's protective and strong, encapsulating that female strength that is inspirational in so many ways。 While this one really got interesting as we got to see the main demon Tanjiro has been searching out and got a far better understanding for how his abilities have increased through his training。 He's a formidable warrior, but we didn't really appreciate that until this part of the story where he faces off with several high-level demons。 His sister continues to be a character that I just adore。 She's protective and strong, encapsulating that female strength that is inspirational in so many ways。 While this part of the story really focused in on one major event, we continued to learn a lot about the main characters and can see how they will continue to be a support system for one another。 。。。more

The story is becoming much more interesting and the art is better。 I'm liking the designs of some of the demons。 I'm also liking the main villain (or at least the one introduced at this time) and I'm interested in his story。 The story is becoming much more interesting and the art is better。 I'm liking the designs of some of the demons。 I'm also liking the main villain (or at least the one introduced at this time) and I'm interested in his story。 。。。more

Wow。 This volume probably has one of my top favorite introductions of a new character ever! Tanjiro has reached the final stage of his training to become an official Demon Slayer。 We are introduced to characters we're sure to see again and learn some heartbreaking news which I'm curious to see if it'll come back in any way。 I'm really enjoying Tanjiro as a character, once again the art is really unique, but let's get to the highlight of this volume which is the new, IMPORTANT character we were j Wow。 This volume probably has one of my top favorite introductions of a new character ever!

。。。more
