It was a bit too slow and too into the world building。 For me the first 200 pages were a complete suffering cause nothin really happened。 Or more like stuff happened that I didn’t exactly cared about and a lot of pages were just wrote full of details about this galaxy。 Which I don’t hate， it’s just… too big and to write down so that the reader can understand that would be a hard job with this one。 If it would’ve had a nice big map I would’ve understood more and maybe would’ve even liked this boo It was a bit too slow and too into the world building。 For me the first 200 pages were a complete suffering cause nothin really happened。 Or more like stuff happened that I didn’t exactly cared about and a lot of pages were just wrote full of details about this galaxy。 Which I don’t hate， it’s just… too big and to write down so that the reader can understand that would be a hard job with this one。 If it would’ve had a nice big map I would’ve understood more and maybe would’ve even liked this book more。 Also SPOLIER: it was sooo obvious that they could kill Vas together。 Like if they both put a hand on him… and that Cyra could’ve stood up for herself so long time ago。 I have no idea if I want to read the sequel。 I probably will but not because I want to it’s because I just want to finish this story。 （If u know what I mean） But all together this is not a bad book。 It’s just wasn’t a good one for me。 。。。more

5，2/10Ik had problemen met de worldbuilding en vroeg me af wat de space setting in godsnaam moest toevoegen aan het verhaal？ De politiek en de personages interesseerden me maar tegen het einde waren er ook een heel aantal plot conveniences die me erg stoorden。 Ik weet nog niet of ik de tweede ga lezen en twijfel hier tussen 3 en 2 sterren maar geef toch nog drie omdat ik het op zich nog wel tof vond om te lezen。
