This new installment in the Folk of the Air series is a return to the heart-racing romance, danger, humor, and drama that enchanted readers everywhere。 Each chapter is paired with lavish and luminous full-color art, making this the perfect collector's item to be enjoyed by both new audiences and old。

This book was so fun to read。I think it’s like the first book I’ve read with pictures since I read dork diaries or the diary of a wimpy kid。These drawings are the most beautiful I’ve ever seen。 I want them all on my wall。 This is exactly how I thought the different characters and vibe in the whole cruel prince series would be like。I loved reading from Cardan’s POV from different time periods of his life, starting from when he was just a small Fay, to his relationship with Nicasia, to him and Jud This book was so fun to read。I think it’s like the first book I’ve read with pictures since I read dork diaries or the diary of a wimpy kid。These drawings are the most beautiful I’ve ever seen。 I want them all on my wall。 This is exactly how I thought the different characters and vibe in the whole cruel prince series would be like。I loved reading from Cardan’s POV from different time periods of his life, starting from when he was just a small Fay, to his relationship with Nicasia, to him and Jude in the mortal world。I loved Aslog and her stories evolving the same way Cardan did throughout the bookI just loved this sm❤️❤️❤️ 。。。more

I expected more stories about his relationship with Jude along with stories of his past, but I guess I'll never get more of that。 I wanted romance since there were very few scenes in the whole trilogy。 I expected more stories about his relationship with Jude along with stories of his past, but I guess I'll never get more of that。 I wanted romance since there were very few scenes in the whole trilogy。 。。。more

How must I even write a biased review when this book is about Cardan。 I mean。 Common, he is chaotically charming。 “’You don’t think that monster girls and wicked boys deserve love?”The illustrations in this book made it feel even more real and I was glee to be back in my favorite fantasy land being enchanted by how everyone could look and how magical it all is。 This book takes you back to the very beginning and fills in so many gaps and questions you might have had in the Folk of the Air series。 How must I even write a biased review when this book is about Cardan。 I mean。 Common, he is chaotically charming。 “’You don’t think that monster girls and wicked boys deserve love?”The illustrations in this book made it feel even more real and I was glee to be back in my favorite fantasy land being enchanted by how everyone could look and how magical it all is。 This book takes you back to the very beginning and fills in so many gaps and questions you might have had in the Folk of the Air series。 The favorite part of where a troll starts telling Carden stories, and you sit back and reflect on how well it correlates with events in his life, and how it even affected his personality。 We all had a feeling there must be something more to this Cruel Prince and reading the story from his perspective in contrast to Jude’s colored in so many pictures about why he loved being terrifying and chaotic。 There is such a simple pleasure in unraveling his wickedness。 “’A heart of stone can still be broken。’” His interactions with Jude can be read with new eyes and like the sucker I am for a good romance, this book delivered every good aspect of a fairytale mixed with darkness and refined with a glimmer of humor。“Having a heart is terrible, but you need one anyway。”So if your heart of stone wants some crushing, this is the book for you。 。。。more

Oh the illustrations were BEAUTIFUL!!!! overall a really really easy pleasant read, I finished it over a cup of coffee in the morning and it put me in such a good mood and set me up for a good day 。It’s hard to rate this book’s literary value as it really is a collection of short stories。 A bit jumbled。 But there were some really wholesome moments。Also Cardan is Draco Malfoy and you can’t change my mind。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Hay algo mejor para terminar que te cuenten la historia de tu personaje favorito?

2。75**Cute short story collection getting to know more about Cardan! He still isn't my favorite character but overall it was nice to get more insight on who he is as a character。 This is one of those books that I wish I read a physical copy of since the illustrations looked stunning on my kindle, but were probably much nicer in person! Very quick read took me less than 24 hours, definitely recommend for more quick Cruel Prince Content。 2。75**Cute short story collection getting to know more about Cardan! THE ART IN THIS IS STUNNING。 I loved this collections of stories so much。 I feel like they really deepened Carden’s character for me。 And truly the art is magnificent。 I want to own this book very badly because with is so lovely。 A definite must read after you finish the original trilogy!!

"You can't eat some of a dumpling and put it back," Oak insists。 "That's revolting。" Cardan considers that villainy takes many forms and he is good at all of them。 Really wonderful, beautifully illustrated little book。 I absolutely love these characters。 "You can't eat some of a dumpling and put it back," Oak insists。 "That's revolting。" Cardan considers that villainy takes many forms and he is good at all of them。 Really wonderful, beautifully illustrated little book。 I absolutely love these characters。 。。。more

Cute。 It in no way rights the weak ending of Queen of Nothing, and the unanswered questions the book left me with。 But it's。。。 certainly the same style。 A little look into Cardans mind。Nice art。 The book is 3☆, but the art gives it 4☆ Cute。 It in no way rights the weak ending of Queen of Nothing, and the unanswered questions the book left me with。 But it's。。。 certainly the same style。 A little look into Cardans mind。Nice art。 The book is 3☆, but the art gives it 4☆ 。。。more

Aww wish it was longer。 This only took me about 30 minutes to read。 My favorite part was all of the beautiful artwork in the book especially the trees that grew out of the books after each short story。

2,5 or 3 ⭐I'm not sure how to rate it。 I mean。。。 it was a good add-on to the Folk of the Air series。We got Cardan's POV which was fine and we also could find out about some fragments of his earlier years, even when he was a child。Surely, it's a great title for fans of that series。 A great opportunity to dive into this world again。Oh, and needless to say that I'm head over the heels with this lavishly illustrated edition。 It's just terrific ! 。。。more
