This volume was super cute and it'd be even better if she wasn't a high school student dating a grown man。 Honestly, why couldn't she have been aged up a little bit? Seriously, 1 or 2 extra years as a college student would have been fine!I think too much emphasis has been placed on an "age gap" and not the fact that she was a minor when they first started seeing each other。 Momoka is apparently eighteen now, which I'm not sure how that happened because we didn't see her celebrating any birthdays This volume was super cute and it'd be even better if she wasn't a high school student dating a grown man。 Honestly, why couldn't she have been aged up a little bit? But okay。 I feel like the only way such a relationship can progress (if it even should) would be with constant adult supervision。 The chapters where Kuga goes to sneak a peek at Momoka during her class trip (and it was ONLY to look at her because he's been touring so much that they haven't been able to spend time with each other) felt almost stalker-ish and the subsequent "secret date" felt。。。wrong。 They really shouldn't be spending time alone together and the fact that her family was not-so-subtly giving them opportunities to be alone together (even if it's within the confines of the house!) was just。。 like, what? Ma'am, you're supposed to be protecting your daughter, not exposing her to a predator。 This volume also tries to draw comparisons between Kuga's friend, Shoyu and his own girlfriend and the pitfalls of dating a celebrity and how the two ladies bond as friends。 I think the author was trying to show Momoka having friends whom she can actually share about her relationship with, because it's not like she can speak about it with her own high school friends。 But here's the thing。 Shoyu and his girlfriend are roughly the same age; they went to school together and they started dating just before/after graduation。 You may say that they're on a similar "pace of life"。 Kuga and Momoka are not。 Kuga is a fully-grown man by the time he meets Momoka。 He'd have many life experiences that Momoka has yet to experience - you can't just keep saying that Momoka is really mature for her age。 The fact is that they're in different life stages and I still can't see how this is portrayed as romantic?I won't be finishing this series because I only wanted to finish the 3 volumes that I've already spent money on。 。。。more

This is about Kuga and Momoka。 Kuga is a professional wrestler and Momoka is a high school student who starts dating him。These two continue to be so cute, and I love the wrestling references。 But I'm dubious about this other wrestler causing drama。 This is about Kuga and Momoka。 Kuga is a professional wrestler and Momoka is a high school student who starts dating him。These two continue to be so cute, and I love the wrestling references。 But I'm dubious about this other wrestler causing drama。 。。。more

Super super cute!!! I love this romance! I have never been into really pretty guys so I know how this main character feels。 I can’t wait to continue! I found this through Sweat and Soap then proceeded to read all three volumes out! I will definitely be on the look out for volume 4。

First date? More like worst date, amirite? Momoka and Kuga made a zoo of the zoo, but they’ve got a can-do attitude and the heart to make it work。 Then Momoka makes a friend who knows her secret and that leads to some of the girliest girl talk I’ve seen in some time。I’ll say this much (again) - if you’re going to do an age-inappropriate romance, this is about the only way to do it。 Kuga is unbelievably cautious to the point of calling Momoka’s dad when the two wind up alone together, so sparks might be flying but the tinder is a little sodden still。Between their embarrassment with one another, adorable as it is, and the ongoing dilemma of a long distance relationship where one person is travelling for weeks at a time, these two would have to be crazy about one another for this to work。Lucky for them, saccharine levels are very, very high this volume。 These two are insanely bashful around one another and more than most shojo I’ve read, this feels like it is catering to a very specific fantasy。 In this case, the strong, burly older man who just happens to also be a total pussycat and all ‘aw shucks’ about things。I mean Kuga makes a sneak appearance during Momoka’s school trip solely for the purpose of making doe eyes at her。 They go on a date, but not until they suddenly realize that this is a thing they can do。 A flock of virgins in a pile of freshly fallen snow has more dubious intent than these two。 Given how much worse this could be handled, I think this is preferable but it’s a touch slow。When Kuga’s buddy finds out he’s seeing somebody he horns in on a Kuga and Momoka date with his own girlfriend and she and Momoka hit it off big time。 This part’s really kind of sweet in two women coming together over dating famous people and having friends who might finally get what they see in these wrestlers。 They bond over chocolate and some very descriptive talk about hardbodies。Couple things I find annoying - the big match between two powerful frenemies ending in a draw has never seemed like anything but a total cop-out and that remains the case here。 This is also all very, very slight。 There are as many stakes here as a vegetarian barbecue。 Fine if you want some fluff, but there’s nothing to really chew on。3 stars。 A fun, cute, harmless read。 I’ll definitely get the final volume, but I don’t know that I’d care if I missed it that much。 There’s practically no story here, just two people being sweet。 It’s enough to recommend it if you like this sort of thing, but not much more than that。 。。。more
