The book we read was "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" but was sung by The Topp Twins and pictures by Jenny Cooper。 I read the book however it had a CD rom and we don't have any devices that allow for us to listen to a CD。 The idea was nice but not practical in today's day and age! diverse book for babies (board-book alternative, set in Bolivia)I like the "indestructable" pages, it's a paper-like material that holds up to chewing, drooling, washing, etc。 with durably vibrant colors and with soft edges (no worries about paper-cuts)。 I had to LINK+ this from another library since my library doesn't carry it, but I am pleased with the quality and would recommend this for sharing with babies/young toddlers--the pages are a bit small for sharing with groups (not for large story diverse book for babies (board-book alternative, set in Bolivia)I like the "indestructable" pages, it's a paper-like material that holds up to chewing, drooling, washing, etc。 with durably vibrant colors and with soft edges (no worries about paper-cuts)。 I had to LINK+ this from another library since my library doesn't carry it, but I am pleased with the quality and would recommend this for sharing with babies/young toddlers--the pages are a bit small for sharing with groups (not for large storytime groups) but would be great to tuck into a bag for one-on-one time (very lightweight and portable)。The illustrations are lively, featuring an elderly, dark-skinned Bolivian farmer (with a cane), and what might be his grandson or granddaughter。 Aside from the title of the book, the story is wordless, so readers can choose how they want the song to go (and with multiple animals on each page, there is plenty of inspiration to keep going)。 。。。more

Definitely chew and drool proof!

Great colors and texture (indestructible is clearly desirable for a kids book) and introduction of a new culture is also fun。

Old Macdonald had a cow, duck, blah, blah, boring! *Bolivian* Old Macdonald has a llama and a chinchilla! The creepy condor is pretty cool, too。 Love that Old Macdonald and the grandkid could be either male or female, depending on what story is being told (there are no words, only pictures--a new story every time!)。 Oh, and the chew-proof, tear-proof aspect is pretty cool, too。 Love it。

I should have gotten one of these when I was small and was a hazard for books。 (yeah, I'm that kid, the one who drew using crayola over pages of books and tears them apart!!!) Anyways, the title said it all。 Indestructible, water proof, tear proof, and other proof I did not try when I was reading this in the bookstore。 Aside from that, the story isn't that good。 I guess I got interested more on the "Indestructible" part。 I'll most likely buy these for my god daughter for next Christmas。 hehe I should have gotten one of these when I was small and was a hazard for books。 (yeah, I'm that kid, the one who drew using crayola over pages of books and tears them apart!!!) When we got this book, you made me sing Old MacDonald constantly for about 3 days。 Old MacDonald had a 。。。 condor, alpaca, chinchilla, goat, cow, horse, pig, young MacDonald, etc。 And then you found the little pics on the back, and we added tiger, mouse, chef, duck, ladybug, cat, deer。。。。
