Another crazy Volume of the Immortal Hulk。 This one was at least entertaining。。。The story revolves mostly around three points: 1） Gyrich and Gamma Flight， a disgraced version of Carol-less Alpha Flight， and their hunt not only for Hulk but also to cure Doc Samson。 2） Gray Hulk in a Banner-like body， who changes into weak and scrawny Hulk at times。 Gyrich sends the Ur-Men after him when Gamma Flight doesn't produce results quick enough。 AND 3） Banner trapped in hell with a Hulked up version of Th Another crazy Volume of the Immortal Hulk。 This one was at least entertaining。。。The story revolves mostly around three points: 1） Gyrich and Gamma Flight， a disgraced version of Carol-less Alpha Flight， and their hunt not only for Hulk but also to cure Doc Samson。 2） Gray Hulk in a Banner-like body， who changes into weak and scrawny Hulk at times。 Gyrich sends the Ur-Men after him when Gamma Flight doesn't produce results quick enough。 AND 3） Banner trapped in hell with a Hulked up version of The Leader。At the end， Banner escapes Hell and is resurrected through a Hulk body， Grey Hulk's personality manifests in the Red Hulk body， who shatters a limitation on Banner， and releases the huge， super strong Hulk （maybe Devil or Incredible）。 Sounds like the last two Volumes will contain lots of smashing。 At least for me， maybe this book will be really worth it again。Recommend。。。 the title is getting good again。（PS I know many people love this title。。。 see my previous reviews。） 。。。more

The Ben Grimm appearance is amazing， so much fun。 The art is particularly great in this volume and the Alpha Team members are super cool。 As per usual， I really enjoy seeing the way DID plays out in Banner and how the various Hulks interact。

The first misstep in Immortal Hulk。 There’s Bennett’s problematic art， of course。 But also some confusing storytelling and bad pacing。 Highlight is 41， which has a great conversation with The Thing。

Rumor has it that death and the Hulk are no longer on speaking terms。” The （potentially？） penultimate arc of this saga forsakes some of the horror stylings of the earlier stories for something slightly more in line with standard superhero fare， but even in its most stripped down form， the Immortal Hulk is still one of the strongest books in Marvel’s roster。
