Well I read this book out of curiosity， since there’s a disabled protagonist in the story。 I think he was written ok， he just seemed like an ordinary boy doing things just like everyone else。 He even had a good personality etc。 Better than what I’ve sen some authors do。 It was good that the story didn’t centre around his disability etc。 When children’s authors miss represent disabled characters in their books， that’s when things become dangerous I think。 Because children pick up & learn from boo Well I read this book out of curiosity， since there’s a disabled protagonist in the story。 I think he was written ok， he just seemed like an ordinary boy doing things just like everyone else。 He even had a good personality etc。 Better than what I’ve sen some authors do。 It was good that the story didn’t centre around his disability etc。 When children’s authors miss represent disabled characters in their books， that’s when things become dangerous I think。 Because children pick up & learn from books。 It’s important to portray & write these characters properly。 So I liked this book。 I didn’t like the stereotype that cats are evil etc。 That’s discrimination to cats that is。 Everyone so prejudiced against cats。 Lol！ Anyway good book， sort of。 。。。more

This is the first David Williams book I have read。 I am looking for new authors my granddaughter might like and I am sure she will like this。 The story is fun and is full of ideas and even some ‘rude’ language kids just love。 There are plenty of great illustrations too。 A winner。
