Comic format flows fast。 Almost begs me to imagine frames in between the frames, or at least pause the break-neck speed with which I devour these Omnibuses。 Possibly my fav arc of the show and the comic! An arc comprised of mini-arcs where the object isn't to survive, or against what odds, but why? Not very specific, I know。 Especially since the comic's been hammering home those themes since the beginning。 A better analysis might suggest the honing of a purpose (Trip to DC to stop the horde) p Comic format flows fast。 Almost begs me to imagine frames in between the frames, or at least pause the break-neck speed with which I devour these Omnibuses。 Possibly my fav arc of the show and the comic! Being a huge fan of the show, I wanted to see how the original writing started and how the show writers followed and deviated from the comics。 My dislikes were that the comics are much more crude, crass, and unnecessarily violent。 I did like the change in relationships and how people worked together differently, and the comics have a different creepiness feel than you get watching it on TV。 Overall, I prefer the show, and probably will not finish out the comic book series。

Hogy természetesen hangozzon a párbeszéd, y'know?

Watched the series, but not read this。

Great set of stories。 I liked that it went into territory not yet ventured into by the TV series and gave us a peek at what may be coming up。Overall, books 1, 2 and 3 have enough différences from the series that kept me hooked。 Although the characters that get to live (wether they want to or not) or those that are killed off (and Kirkman has one hell of an imagination as to how to kill off a major character in this one `tainted meat` indeed, heh) are different than in the show, it's fun to have Great set of stories。 I liked that it went into territory not yet ventured into by the TV series and gave us a peek at what may be coming up。Overall, books 1, 2 and 3 have enough différences from the series that kept me hooked。 Although the characters that get to live (wether they want to or not) or those that are killed off (and Kirkman has one hell of an imagination as to how to kill off a major character in this one `tainted meat` indeed, heh) are different than in the show, it's fun to have that bit of mystery。Looking forward to getting the 4th Omnibus volume。。。 eventually 。。。more

Kirkman is nothing short of a genius。 I love everything about this series。 It delves into all the questions we have about humanity, loss, insanity and post apocalyptic flesh eating zombies。 The storyline is wonderful and really makes you question your own humanity in a way I never thought possible。 Harrowing and tormenting in some parts。 Beautifully gory in others。 A must must must read for any zombie or apocalypse lover。 They are the greatest horror based graphic novels out there。

Truly great collection。 And very glad to have on my Comixlogy account。 So read on my Kindle Fire or my Galaxy Player。 The Digital edition is very different and only offered during the 100 sale。 It is 950 pages long。 The hardcover is around 500 pages。

More biters, more roamers, more lurkers。 What can I say? I love zombies! Now eagerly awaiting the next installment。
