Mr。 Stink is a really good book。 It is about a lonely girl who meets a tramp, and the tramp needs a place to stay。 So she decides to hide the tramp in her garden shed。 After she hides the tramp in her shed it all gets good from there。

What a wonderful book, showing the world how people should be treated with respect and care。

Lovely!!

Brilliant! It made me laugh and cry (multiple times!), and it had deep meaning with many messages of morality woven nicely into every chapter。 It was just MAGIC, and so well written。 A treasure to keep alongside the Roald Dahl collection。

Cassandra

nice twist。 i love that。 and i love the part when Mother apologised。 i would have hated her continuously if that had not happened。 but this book is good。 yeah。

I knew I was going to love this book from the first line。 the way the last line of the book ties it together in the most wholesome way is amazing。

Thalia S。 A。

Amazing book! I can re-read it many times! Beautifully written

I read this to my daughter, but it brought me to tears。 I wish there wasn’t so much talk of Chloe being “fat”, however。 There’s no need to even put that thought in kids’ heads。

Did not like it, honestly。 This is only my opinion, but I felt this book didn’t have any solid moral values or likable humour…。

My Son and I loved every minute of this book。So so good。

He was a savior, sent from above。 Sometimes that's all you need in your life; for someone to put everything in the right order for you and remind you of everything you already have。 He was a savior, sent from above。 Sometimes that's all you need in your life; for someone to put everything in the right order for you and remind you of everything you already have。 。。。more

It's wonderful that such a children's book about a homeless man has been written。 I wish Mr。 Stink could be my friend, too。(view spoiler)[However I'm a little disappointed how the nasty characters always suddenly become good in the end! "Hilarious" - The Times。"Superbrilliantamazing" - Chloe, turn-out-to-be-the-second-person-narrator protagonist。"Drop-dead hilarious" (if you're allowed to say so) - Me。Imagine reading a book and can't have a break from laughing out loud。 I wonder what kinda books David read growing up to accumulate that much cutie crazie imagination that seems to spring up endlessly。 Aside from all the sweet and touching stories, children would learn a lot from his incredible wit!Love love love it!!! I have decided to revisit David Walliams books with my son this year and we have started our journey with Mr Stink。I feel with David's books he not only provides wonderful characters and laughs (everyone loves Raj the Newsagent!) but it also touches on subjects or situations that some children may not be aware of。Overwhelmingly in this story the underlying theme here is kindness and not to take people at face value and Chloe is the kind inquisitive child that stops to share a conversation with M I have decided to revisit David Walliams books with my son this year and we have started our journey with Mr Stink。I feel with David's books he not only provides wonderful characters and laughs (everyone loves Raj the Newsagent!) but it also touches on subjects or situations that some children may not be aware of。Overwhelmingly in this story the underlying theme here is kindness and not to take people at face value and Chloe is the kind inquisitive child that stops to share a conversation with Mr Stink。 It sparked alot of debate amongst my son and I about what we would do if we were to meet someone homeless? "I would just smile and say hi because to make someone happy by talking to them doesn't cost any money, its free!"I think if everyone adopted this attitude the world would be a much kinder place。Thank you David for taking us on a rollercoaster of emotions, laugh out loud one minute and teary the next。 。。。more

This was a funny and heartwarming read。 The characters are relatable and funny。 Because of the comparisons with Roald Dahl, I was left wanting more but still enjoyed the fun read and heartwarming end。

I really like this book, but it's got stuff which I never found disgusting before。 Things like burping in the face of a bully。 I'm being honest, that's the only downside。 On the other hand, it conveys a really meaningful message。 Mr Stink is one of my all-time favourites。 I find it like a friend who I can always rely on to make me happy。 Because it's short, it doesn't take time to read。I definitly reccomend it。 I really like this book, but it's got stuff which I never found disgusting before。 Things like burping in the face of a bully。 I'm being honest, that's the only downside。 On the other hand, it conveys a really meaningful message。 Mr Stink is one of my all-time favourites。 I find it like a friend who I can always rely on to make me happy。 Because it's short, it doesn't take time to read。I definitly reccomend it。 。。。more
