I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!!!

Refleja lo que significa ser gay en el dia a dia, Simon es el reflejo de muchos chavales de hoy en día。 Sin duda alguna un libro referente en la literatura LGTB

I truly enjoyed the story。 The coming to terms with everything。 The realness of the friend fights。 The understanding of people。 The love that grew so nicely。 I am so excited to continue reading these stories。

Das Buch hat eine größere, bessere Story als der Film。 Das Buch ist echt sehr genial。 5 Sterne。

Love, Simon or Simon vs the Homo sapiens agenda was very controversial for me。 I could not let it down as soon as I started reading but I'm assuming that happen because it felt as if I was constantly reading a coming of age teen movie 。 Nevertheless, I enjoyed its quirky atmosphere and the fact that as a 17 year old myself I could find some of Simon's situation pretty relatable。 Moreover, I have to admit that I found everything more realistic and sweet I'd say in the book rather than the movie。 Love, Simon or Simon vs the Homo sapiens agenda was very controversial for me。 I could not let it down as soon as I started reading but I'm assuming that happen because it felt as if I was constantly reading a coming of age teen movie 。 Nevertheless, I enjoyed its quirky atmosphere and the fact that as a 17 year old myself I could find some of Simon's situation pretty relatable。 Moreover, I have to admit that I found everything more realistic and sweet I'd say in the book rather than the movie。 To be more precise, the book gives more personality traits in each one of the characters and especially to Blue which I could easily include in the protagonists alongside Simon。 All in All, I can honestly continue reviewing the book but I don't want to spoil anything and I'd like to keep my review simple and helpful。 I recommend this book for many reasons:☆If you want to start reading books it might be a good and easy start point。☆If you want to introduce yourself to the LGBTQ+ community before doing more research。 ☆If you love coming of age teen (love, LGBTQ+) stories。And the two most important factors for me:☆If you are a teenager that belongs in the LGBTQ+ community, especially if you want to come out at one point or another or a teenager struggling to find themselves in general。☆Lastly, If you are a parent, honestly as a teenager myself I would prefer my parents to watch the movie rather than reading the book but if you are truly willing to understand your child after coming out of the closet , it could be inspiring。 I hope I helped! 。。。more

Being gay and in the closet is one thing but being out is another thing completely。 Simon and blue have the perfect relationship。 No faces, fake names, and all real/raw emotion。 But when Simon is the target of a blackmail scheme, he's forced out of the closet too soon。 Navigating high school, in general, is a challenge but being even a little different can be hell。 With ever-changing relationships, figuring out how to be out, and the ups and downs of family life, Simon vs。 the homo sapiens is a Being gay and in the closet is one thing but being out is another thing completely。 Simon and blue have the perfect relationship。 No faces, fake names, and all real/raw emotion。 But when Simon is the target of a blackmail scheme, he's forced out of the closet too soon。 Navigating high school, in general, is a challenge but being even a little different can be hell。 With ever-changing relationships, figuring out how to be out, and the ups and downs of family life, Simon vs。 the homo sapiens is a sweet yet impactful book on the life of LGBTQ+ teens。 I want to say that this isn't my first Becky Albertalli book, but this is the first book I really liked。 I enjoyed everything in this book, from the characters to the plot。 It was a great read。 Is this my favorite book of the year? No。 but it is something that the story is pretty well done。 。。。more

Alright I’m writing this review from my phone, so please excuse my keypad’s weird grammar。But seriously。 This book is sooooo sweet。 The romance is so cute, I laughed like the lunatic I am when I read the ending。 To be honest, I was scared the book wouldn’t reach the quota its hype claims, but it has surpassed that level (at least it has, to me)。The warmth and awkwardness of the school setting was pretty much the cherry on top。 I was pleasantly surprised to find how much I related to the school c Alright I’m writing this review from my phone, so please excuse my keypad’s weird grammar。But seriously。 This book is sooooo sweet。 The romance is so cute, I laughed like the lunatic I am when I read the ending。 To be honest, I was scared the book wouldn’t reach the quota its hype claims, but it has surpassed that level (at least it has, to me)。The warmth and awkwardness of the school setting was pretty much the cherry on top。 I was pleasantly surprised to find how much I related to the school characters, which I loved since I’ve missed the dumbass atmosphere of my own school。In conclusion, Simon has earned a place among my comfort books。 。。。more

4。5OMG, exactly what I needed。 A fluffy gay romance (mlm)。。。 honestly I love both, the movie and the book, but because of different things。 The book felt more raw and talked about certain topics but was very US-ish (parents being supportive and all that), although I loved how Simon called out his had for making homophobic remarks, and the romance was hella cute。 Now with the movie I resonated a little bit more (with the coming out) but a lot of things were very cliche and predictable (the ending 4。5OMG, exactly what I needed。 A fluffy gay romance (mlm)。。。 honestly I love both, the movie and the book, but because of different things。 The book felt more raw and talked about certain topics but was very US-ish (parents being supportive and all that), although I loved how Simon called out his had for making homophobic remarks, and the romance was hella cute。 Now with the movie I resonated a little bit more (with the coming out) but a lot of things were very cliche and predictable (the ending of the book was also kind pf predictable (in a good way) except for the whole Martin thing) and some characters were less likable, like Abby。。。 I loved her on the book but in the series she was kind of mean。Overall, the book was amazing and touched my gay heart。。。 。。。more

I watched the movie when it first came out but short after decided to read the book。 9/10 cases the book is always better than the movie and so it was this time to。The plot is the same (no shocker) but the book describes everyone’s emotions so much more than in the movie which is important for the plot。 ✨ Would recommend ✨

How can a book about a gay teenager coming to terms with their sexuality feel so unrelentlessly (and often unbearably) straight? I read this book as a child and genuinely enjoyed it, but it hasn't aged well for me since then。 The characters are two-dimensional regardless of the efforts made to develop them, and the book really focuses on the idea that you cannot feel wholly comfortable with who you are as a queer person without actually coming out (which is often an impossibility for people who How can a book about a gay teenager coming to terms with their sexuality feel so unrelentlessly (and often unbearably) straight? I enjoyed the book and had a good plot。 The amount of characters was a bit confusing。 I think the book could have had better events that made the book more interesting。 I liked how every other chapter there was an email conversation。

i read this book awhile ago i got it from the library after watching the movie (love simon)。 This was the first lgbt book i had ever read so i felt quite connected to the book。 it was a good book and the movie didn’t do it enough justice。 some chapters were slower than others but that happens quite often。 i would reread

4。25 stars! This is a super cute coming-of-age story! I love how great everyone in the story is! How even the worst ones have some redeemable traits (excluding the bullies)。 Although I knew who Blue is because I saw some spoilers, I still love the revelation though, and I'm not disappointed at all。 Beside that, I also love how warm and light-hearted this book felt。 Simon's family is very supportive and chill, I love it。 The only thing that bothers me most is that (view spoiler)[ Nick and Abby do 4。25 stars!
