Summary

Looking to deliver a letter from the Witch of the Forest of Illusions， Satou and his party decide to visit the village of the forest giants。 He soon finds the villagers are still recovering from hydra attacks， including three children who were poisoned by the hydra's toxic breath。 As Satou gets to work on brewing an antidote， Karina ponders how she can enlist the giants' assistance in ridding her hometown of the demonic presence that plagues it。。。

Good but a bit slowThe slow pace of this story works very well in the novel because it ramps up at the end and has a lot of action and adventure。 But when you cut the story up to make these shorter sections of the novel you sometimes get a very slow story and it makes the whole thing drag。

There was another new character introduction in the last chapter of volume 8 and the continuation of that aligns with the path of the satou group， heading towards the Forrest of giants。With a demon now being suspected in a plot nearby there is more build up to an inevitable battle soon in up coming volumes。 🐑
