You could say this was split into two halves。 The first handled the climax of Rescue Eri arc while the second half was light hearted and dealt with the License Course。 Let's dive into the spoilers！Chisaki had a solid business idea， albeit twisted， he had a perfect plan to revive their clan。 But for all his strength， he was defeated way too easily be Deku。 Not to mention， how Shigaraki turned the whole thing on it's head。 Not only did he steal his creations but did he just kill him too？ Jeez， Shi You could say this was split into two halves。 The first handled the climax of Rescue Eri arc while the second half was light hearted and dealt with the License Course。 Let's dive into the spoilers！Chisaki had a solid business idea， albeit twisted， he had a perfect plan to revive their clan。 But for all his strength， he was defeated way too easily be Deku。 Not to mention， how Shigaraki turned the whole thing on it's head。 Not only did he steal his creations but did he just kill him too？ Jeez， Shigaraki suddenly became all too powerful huh！！Also， Deku could have actually died if not for Aizawa。 But， NightEye does end up dying。 Even though I never liked him， one can't help but feel bad for someone when they die。 Poor Mirio， lost his quirk and now even his mentor。。The second half had Shoto， Bakugo， Inasa and Camie dealing with little kids。 Arriving at a line where they respect you yet love you is hard to achieve with kids and these UA Students did a wonderful job at that。 The scenes were spectacular in the manga， I can't imagine how beautiful they'd look in the anime。 I loved how Shoto mentioned about helping the kids open up while smiling himself。 Bakugo understanding his issue with Deku and ensuring no other kid walks down the same path just screams character development。 And Endeavor trying to be a better hero for his people and one that his son can be proud of， damn！！I loved this Volume， a perfect mix of action and goofiness！ 。。。more

4。5 starsAnd that is the end of the Shie Hassaikai arc and I am shooketh。 I had to put the volume down between finishing it and then starting the mini Remedial Course arc。 It was a nice change of pace at the end， and an interesting development in Shoto and Katsuki。 Cannot wait to catch up on the manga （currently at 28 volumes and 318 chapters after that） to watch the anime adaptation of the Shie Hassaikai arc。

What a great fucking volume。 First， I need to address this very important matter: Shoto in a turtleneck。 Now with that out of the way， the second half of this volume was so wholesome it added years to my life！ I mean the conclusion of the Hissaiki arc was great， but what we all needed in our lives was Bakugo， Shoto， Yoarashi and Camie being tormented by little people。 That ending tho - what the actual fuck！？

So glad to FINALLY see the end of the Eri & Chisaki plot。 It was like 5 volumes long。 I enjoyed the emotional bits with Mirio， Midoriya and Nighteye a bit。 It was interesting seeing Todoroki and Bakugo deal with not being involved as the rest of their class risked their lives yet again。 This volume only furthered the disconnect between how the female characters are treated and developed compared to the male characters。 To preface， I didn’t go into this series unaware that the female characters d So glad to FINALLY see the end of the Eri & Chisaki plot。 It was like 5 volumes long。 I enjoyed the emotional bits with Mirio， Midoriya and Nighteye a bit。 It was interesting seeing Todoroki and Bakugo deal with not being involved as the rest of their class risked their lives yet again。 This volume only furthered the disconnect between how the female characters are treated and developed compared to the male characters。 To preface， I didn’t go into this series unaware that the female characters didn’t get treated well in it。 It’s common issue mentioned when people discuss the show on TikTok。 It just sucks that， in addition to the sexualized costumes and women being reduced to sex symbols to do commercials when they become heroes， they’re disrespected by other female characters， too？In this volume， we get the only female character in the provisional licensing course being treated like a hussy because she thought Todoroki was a attractive。 And this is coming from elementary school girls。 I just。。。 don’t understand what the point of that was？ Who was that for exactly？ Were young boys supposed to read that and laugh？ Anyway， I tend to just do my best to ignore the female characters all the together because。。。 well， the series does too and it’s easier that way。 。。。more

Shie Hassaikai Arc My Hero Academia， Vol。 15 -My Hero Academia， Vol。 18I know Deku is the main character of the series but does he really need to fight every main villain？ It's getting a bit ridiculous now， you've got all these pro heroes out there。 Yet this kid who's still in hero school is somehow meeting all these world ending threats and taking them on， with only his teachers to support him。 Aside from that this has been a pretty good arc， I love the whole big 3 introduction。 Kind of sidel Shie Hassaikai Arc My Hero Academia， Vol。 15 -My Hero Academia， Vol。 18I know Deku is the main character of the series but does he really need to fight every main villain？ It's getting a bit ridiculous now， you've got all these pro heroes out there。 Yet this kid who's still in hero school is somehow meeting all these world ending threats and taking them on， with only his teachers to support him。 Aside from that this has been a pretty good arc， I love the whole big 3 introduction。 Kind of sidelined the girl but the other two go a decent amount of time to shine， Lemillion's fight last volume was fire。 Serious that would have been the best fight， if we didn't have the one for all fight in the arc prior。 Speaking of which this was a nice follow up to that， with a lesser role of all might and kind of giving Deku more time to grow by himself。 Overhall was a great villain， it's kind of a shame he wasn't something bigger。 The whole Mafia side of the hero world was so interesting， to have it kind of swept away so quickly seems like a missed opportunity。 Of course they might bring him back but we'll have to see， you never know with this series。 Remedial Course Arc I know there is a chapter left in this arc but really can't see it adding much to the narrative。 It wasn't until the arc that realized how much I missed Bakago and Todoroki， they're my favorite aside from All Might。 It's mainly about them completing their hero exam， as they failed the first one。 We get to see Camie again which was nice， the best bit was the exchange between Endeavour and All Might about what it means to be number 1 hero。 I love how All Might said that he can't be replaced and that Endeavour has to do his own thing， which is 100% true。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 This was a funny volume overall， after the first two chapters were done。 I suspect it was cuz the Overhaul arc lasted a long time and after an intense few volumes/chapters， readers needed a break and a change of scenery for some other characters。 Which I liked。 I liked to see the insight on how Bakugo and Todoroki are handing their extra training becuase they failed the license exams。 Even if they were just taking care of kids， it was fun。 The last chapter though， when it switched back to Izuku’ This was a funny volume overall， after the first two chapters were done。 I suspect it was cuz the Overhaul arc lasted a long time and after an intense few volumes/chapters， readers needed a break and a change of scenery for some other characters。 Which I liked。 I liked to see the insight on how Bakugo and Todoroki are handing their extra training becuase they failed the license exams。 Even if they were just taking care of kids， it was fun。 The last chapter though， when it switched back to Izuku’s pov， my only question is what the fuck？ Lol， like it goes from some serious stuff to Aoyama practically stalking him。 Literally confused but just going with it cuz it’s funny。 I think Horikoshi said that the culture festival was coming up in the next volume， so I’m excited to see that。 Man this is so good。 I loved the scene with the league of villains when they stopped the transport of overhaul to the villains hospital to just get revenge on him。 Like yes please do that。 I don’t condone revenge but like they’re villains and they don’t care about anything so to me they can do whatever， cuz if they were after me I’d just let them kill me。 Anyways when Shigaraki cut off/disintegrated Chisaki’s arms， I loved that。 He was literally so scared。 Go villains am I right？ Just gotta say something else， I love Toga and Twice， they’re so cute。 Best duo。 I don’t ship them since they aren’t legal， but I see them as like besties， and that so cute to me！！ I honestly feel bad for twice， like the way he is mentally is his own fault but I still feel bad for him。 The villains are growing on me， I’m starting to like a few of them。 As for the hero’s， I still don’t like Bakugo， but he’s changed since his fight with Deku， and I can see that definitely。 If he develops even more maybe I’ll like him then。 He’s not that much of an ass as before （thank you for that）。Anyways， hope the next volume will be good cuz I definitely enjoyed this one :） 。。。more
