A light heart Volume delving into the UA School Festival。 Class 1 A Kids chose the most unexpected form of entertainment for Heroes and are working hard at it。 What I loved about this event was that everyone pitched in， even the ones that are always aloof like Shoto and Bakugo！In parallel， a new Hero-Villain has been introduced named Gentle。 He's a bit strange in the sense that he punishes only minor offences and makes YouTube videos on the same with the help of La Brava。 But this random guy wan A light heart Volume delving into the UA School Festival。 Class 1 A Kids chose the most unexpected form of entertainment for Heroes and are working hard at it。 What I loved about this event was that everyone pitched in， even the ones that are always aloof like Shoto and Bakugo！In parallel， a new Hero-Villain has been introduced named Gentle。 He's a bit strange in the sense that he punishes only minor offences and makes YouTube videos on the same with the help of La Brava。 But this random guy wants to barge into UA School Festival to make an impression。But fear not， as Deku is here to save the day！ A nice Volume but since I didn't really care much about Mr Gentle， it bored me a lot。 So rating it a 3 stars。 。。。more

My Hero Academia vol。 19 “I can’t reach the strings thanks to my design。” As U。A。 prepares for their School Festival， there is a villain Gentle planning to “expose” U。A。’s inability to protect their students。 Before the event， Eri visits U。A。 to witness the preparations and plans to attend the event。 For the most part， Gentle is dull and uninteresting。 But I feel bad for him; on the one hand， he’s different from other villains and appears to be trying to bring attention to shady corporations but My Hero Academia vol。 19 “I can’t reach the strings thanks to my design。” As U。A。 prepares for their School Festival， there is a villain Gentle planning to “expose” U。A。’s inability to protect their students。 Before the event， Eri visits U。A。 to witness the preparations and plans to attend the event。 For the most part， Gentle is dull and uninteresting。 But I feel bad for him; on the one hand， he’s different from other villains and appears to be trying to bring attention to shady corporations but also doing petty crimes that aren’t gaining attention。 He’s more of a nuisance rather than a villain。 This volume reads as a filer since nothing significant happens， nor does Deku have a significant breakthrough with his powers。 。。。more

This volume was a nice filler （with a little underlying story） and was a pleasant way to move on from the Shie Hassaikai arc。 The school festival concept is alright， I don’t really care about it to be honest， hence the 3 star rating。

The volumes that focus on the other students are some of my favorites。 I like a lot of the character interactions that happen with the students。 Little less Bakugo and Midoriya would be nice though。

A slow breather from all the serious storyline。 I like how it gave a lot of the supporting characters some lines and moments to shine。 The whole Gentle Criminal and La Brava inclusion was pretty whatever to me， they are not my favorite。

I liked this volume。 It was a bit calmer after the whole Overhaul arc which is nice。 Though the end got me frustrated， like Deku needs to hurry up。 Or even better just like call the pros and get back to the performance like this self sacrificing child。 On the other hand when he was having all those flashbacks during the battle and held up the support beam I was getting a lot of Spider-Man vibes。 I loved it。 This volume was really good， can’t wait for what happens next。

I thought this was cute。 A lot of stuff at the school while Class A prepares to put on a concert for a school festival。 I really liked these little moments where you just get to see the characters be regular kids。 There’s some of the aftermath of Midoriya and Mirio trying to help Eri adjust to life now。 I love how much Midoriya cares about her。 This also introduced La Bravia and Gentle as newer villains。

One big blah fest。 I love a good tone down after a heavy hitting arc。 However， this book was borderline absurd。 The school festival was totally unrealistic & too much for a tone down。 A simple stand of game activities would’ve been better than some stupid over the top show。 The cutesy criminals were terrible。 No character depth whatsoever。 How dare you bring them back in the next volume？！

Gentle is not one of my favorite villains by any means， but I loved seeing all the kids working together and doing normal school things instead of fighting for their lives like they usually are。 Plus Eri is adorable。 Favorite panel: one of Mirio bapping Eri on the head。
