Lots happening right away but the breakdowns part might be more fun in an anime then reading it, because its less including me in learning about something and feels more like I'm just being talked at, which isn't as fun for me。 Lots happening right away but the breakdowns part might be more fun in an anime then reading it, because its less including me in learning about something and feels more like I'm just being talked at, which isn't as fun for me。 。。。more

This book helped me gain interest in chemistry as well as teach me more about it。 It utilizes an interesting plot line and humor to make it fascinating to people of all ages, and even if you don't know much about science, it's still fun to read。 The story is sometimes intense but it is easy to understand overall。 The artwork is amazing and captures the feeling of the book really well。 I would definitely recommend this book to any chemistry enthusiasts。 This book helped me gain interest in chemistry as well as teach me more about it。 It utilizes an interesting plot line and humor to make it fascinating to people of all ages, and even if you don't know much about science, it's still fun to read。 The story is sometimes intense but it is easy to understand overall。 The artwork is amazing and captures the feeling of the book really well。 I would definitely recommend this book to any chemistry enthusiasts。 。。。more

This is such a unique story to me, I absolutely love it。 I especially love Senku's and Taiju's antics。 They make such a great team with Yuzuriha as a nice balance and Tsukasa is a badass villain; the man really does remind of me a lion。 The first volume is a great introduction into the Stone World and I am so exited to read more of it and watch the anime。 This is such a unique story to me, I absolutely love it。 I especially love Senku's and Taiju's antics。 They make such a great team with Yuzuriha as a nice balance and Tsukasa is a badass villain; the man really does remind of me a lion。 The first volume is a great introduction into the Stone World and I am so exited to read more of it and watch the anime。 。。。more

Placeholder for first 16 volumes。Cute and full of energy, but the same running jokes, lack of strong villains/opposing forces, and rampant deus ex machina made me like this less and less as time goes on。 The problem is that our main character can invent literally anything that he needs and it never sets him back enough for it to be a long standing problem。 The side characters are fun, but most of them are one dimensional and never get more than a few adjectives worth of description。 I'd read it Placeholder for first 16 volumes。Cute and full of energy, but the same running jokes, lack of strong villains/opposing forces, and rampant deus ex machina made me like this less and less as time goes on。 The problem is that our main character can invent literally anything that he needs and it never sets him back enough for it to be a long standing problem。 The side characters are fun, but most of them are one dimensional and never get more than a few adjectives worth of description。 I'd read it for a nice laugh, but it's a sugar rush at best。 。。。more

When I started reading this book I thought wow "what a weird way to start a book。" It's really not it kind of builds up to the next scene。 Clearly, this book is about Senku and his friends trying to get the Earth back to normal。 What makes it more interesting is that They use Science。 In Senku's point of view, science can never be destroyed, it just keeps building up。 I guess you can be educated on how they make everything by science。 The other thing is that it also very funny like the facial ex When I started reading this book I thought wow "what a weird way to start a book。" It's really not it kind of builds up to the next scene。 Clearly, this book is about Senku and his friends trying to get the Earth back to normal。 What makes it more interesting is that They use Science。 In Senku's point of view, science can never be destroyed, it just keeps building up。 I guess you can be educated on how they make everything by science。 The other thing is that it also very funny like the facial expressions each of the characters make although they are in a world where everything is turned into they try not to act calm。 Anyone who reads Manga this could the next series you could try or to anyone, who wants to try a manga this book is just for you! 。 。。。more

This is the first-ever manga I have read and I absolutely LOVED IT!! I watch the anime of Dr。 Stone but seeing it in the manga was AMAZING! I will not lie that it was confusing to read at first, since you read manga the opposite way than the novels I am used to。 Although, I was very surprised by how quickly I picked up on the style and formatting! I am excited to read more!

I was debating for a pretty long time about whether or not to count the manga I read and decided I’d just go for it!Please ignore this if you’re not into that kind of stuff!Dr。 Stone starts with a very interesting concept (what if everyone on earth was suddenly turned to stone) and it’s only made cooler by the characters that come to live in the world it creates! If I hadn’t already loved the series because of the anime, the amazing detail in the art would have won me over for sure!

Gavin

A Toy version of the scientific method, with Senku just intuiting things and progressing ridiculously quickly。 But having even a toy version of science is more sophisticated than most fiction。

As catching up on the manga was quite a bit of reading and literature, I am just adding this as reading the entire manga to current! Fantastic and I think this show is so unique in the world。

This was weird。 But in a good way。 I think。。。

A slow start, but with lots of potential。 Was afraid the the story would not revolve around Senku, but was glad when the view shifted and it did。 Looking forward to reading on。

The art style definitely shapes a world of its own with a unique take that can be boiled down to an emphasis on faces and their expressions。 It’s not too similar to other likenesses out there (shounen), at least with traditional Japanese manga, and I like that (it grew on me)。 What else shapes a world of its own? On to the next! 。。。more

Dr。Stone is really really good。 I love the whole setting and idea of a stone age but in the future, thousands of years after a mysterious petrification that struck all of humanity。 I'll be honest and say that I'm only caught up with the anime adaptation of this manga, but it's definitely interesting and worth the read if you're between the age of 15 and 21。 Dr。Stone is really really good。 I love the whole setting and idea of a stone age but in the future, thousands of years after a mysterious petrification that struck all of humanity。 I'll be honest and say that I'm only caught up with the anime adaptation of this manga, but it's definitely interesting and worth the read if you're between the age of 15 and 21。 。。。more
