Summary

This updated workbook is designed with the student in mind and intended for use with the standard-setting Basics of Biblical Hebrew Grammar textbook, now in its third edition。 In addition to corresponding to the revisions and updates in Basics of Biblical Hebrew Grammar, this workbook includes significant changes to the interior presentation; less unnecessary questions and exercises; and six reading texts interspersed among the exercises for the derived stems。

The workbook is an essential chapter-by-chapter companion and includes helpful exercises and translation homework。 As students complete the assignments in the workbook, the concepts they have been learning from the main grammar are reinforced, making this an invaluable study tool to enhance student learning。

Pretty standard text for classic Hebrew。 Recommend for those trying to learn the language。

At least the workbook skipped most of the Christian sermonizing found in it's hardback companion, and I really did like the excercies and the way the 'answer key' was created from the next excercise three pages later。 At least the workbook skipped most of the Christian sermonizing found in it's hardback companion, and I really did like the excercies and the way the 'answer key' was created from the next excercise three pages later。 。。。more

Wasn't fun, but I suppose it was worth it。 Wasn't fun, but I suppose it was worth it。 。。。more

Helpful though a more complete answer key would be helpful ie。 Bible translation exercises info on verbs

This workbook is huge。 It has tons of exercises and reinforces the grammar that is learned from its companion volume。 The translations are not heavily glossed and sometimes requires a lexicon, but usually the glossary in the back is enough to figure out the exercise。 Unfortunately, the answer key is on a cd which is included, not in this book, but the companion grammar。 So you have to buy both。
