Summary

In the fifth book in the New York Times bestselling Spy School series, Ben goes undercover in the White House to take on a SPYDER operative determined to assassinate the president。

Thirteen-year-old Ben Ripley has had a lot of field success despite only just beginning his second year at Spy School, something even graduates rarely experience。 But he’d never have survived without the help from experienced agents and his friends。 Now he’s been called in on a solo mission—and the fate of the United States of America is on his shoulders alone。

The mission: Prevent a presidential assassination by infiltrating the White House and locating the enemy operative。

And when everything goes wrong, Ben must rely on his spy school friends to save his reputation…but even friends can double-cross or be swayed to the enemy’s side。

This is one of my favorites books in this series, second to the 7th book。The plot of this book is great, there is character development unlike other books in this series, and the book doesn’t feel rushed at all。If you enjoy reading mystery books this is defiantly it for you。

This is easily my new favorite out of all the books。 This one comes even more packed with action and comedy and even a bit of romance! Ben gets framed attempted assasination against the President and everyone is looking to capture him! Will they capture him or will Ben get evidence before it's to late? This book has a lot of plot twists and was really good。 This is easily my new favorite out of all the books。 This one comes even more packed with action and comedy and even a bit of romance! I thought this book was a pretty sweet addition to the series but it is loaded with unneccisary junk。 I would not reccomend reading this book。

Overall, I think that this is a really good book。 This book is adventurous, and fun to read about。 Although this book may seem a bit baby-ish, it reflects lots of outside criminal activity going on in the outside world。 From befriending people and secretly betraying everyone you be-friend, this Spy School book introduces a scene where Ben is falsely accused of trying to assassinate the president of the united states, whereas Ben's friend Warren, was actually the one who framed him like this。 My Overall, I think that this is a really good book。 This book is adventurous, and fun to read about。 Although this book may seem a bit baby-ish, it reflects lots of outside criminal activity going on in the outside world。 From befriending people and secretly betraying everyone you be-friend, this Spy School book introduces a scene where Ben is falsely accused of trying to assassinate the president of the united states, whereas Ben's friend Warren, was actually the one who framed him like this。 My personal thoughts on this book are quite impactful to me。 I think that in life, you need to learn to rely on your own, and no matter how good of a friend someone is to you, they may betray you at some point。 My point is, is that we should never pour too much trust into one person, regardless of who they are。 。。。more

Intense, fun, humorous - a great adventure。 Think spying is for serious adults? No way。 This is book five, and we are reading out loud as a family。 It's been non-stop Spy School for weeks, and ages 9 to adult are all still engaged and ready for the next opportunity for Ben Ripley to thwart SPYDER and his evil nemesis Murray Hill。 Intense, fun, humorous - a great adventure。 Think spying is for serious adults? I feel like I'm growing up alongside Ben, Erica, Zoe and other characters。 They are my friends。Zoe is my favorite character of all time。 We might not see her as much as Erica, but I love her all the same。This book series is one of those book that even though they were written for children, they could be enjoyed by people of all ages。 I feel like I'm growing up alongside Ben, Erica, Zoe and other characters。 They are my friends。Zoe is my favorite character of all time。 We might not see her as much as Erica, but I love her all the same。This book series is one of those book that even though they were written for children, they could be enjoyed by people of all ages。 。。。more

4。5 out of 5 starsI adore this series so much I basically dock points if there is a character I don't like or something happens that I wish don't。 There was one thing I was rather bummed about。 But honestly not THAT bummed。 Chip, Jawa, and Zoe are still my favorites。 Ben is still the most likeable kid。 And Mike is great too! Erica is still a boss。 And Alexander, he has grown on me。 4。5 out of 5 starsI adore this series so much I basically dock points if there is a character I don't like or something happens that I wish don't。 There was one thing I was rather bummed about。 But honestly not THAT bummed。 Chip, Jawa, and Zoe are still my favorites。 Ben is still the most likeable kid。 And Mike is great too! Once again, Ben Ripley is thrown into a faceoff with SPYDER。 This time, however, the mission involves what I believe really makes this book click-his friend Mike, who shows up multiple times, each more engaging than the last。 The confrontations and constant air of mystery, coupled with the interaction between Ben and the residents of the White House add together to make what I believe to be one of the best books in the series by far。

Spy School Secret Service is a good book for anyone who wants a “Wanted Protagonist” Sort of Feel。 In This book, Ben Ripley is put on an Assignment for presidential Protection against assasination。 The Cover Story is that he is visiting the President’s son with the Idea in mind that the assassin won’t suspect a kid。tI’d Say that this is a really well made book。 The Timing is great with the explosions, The Search, Ben’s Rescue and even the Trial。 Despite putting the Protagonists through a potenti Spy School Secret Service is a good book for anyone who wants a “Wanted Protagonist” Sort of Feel。 In This book, Ben Ripley is put on an Assignment for presidential Protection against assasination。 The Cover Story is that he is visiting the President’s son with the Idea in mind that the assassin won’t suspect a kid。tI’d Say that this is a really well made book。 The Timing is great with the explosions, The Search, Ben’s Rescue and even the Trial。 Despite putting the Protagonists through a potentially Boring Situation, Stuart Gibbs manages to turn it into a funny scenario full of Half-Cocked insults and Smart-Aleck comebacks。tOverall, I like where everything went from the beginning of the book, showing logical thinking by Stuart Gibbs to show the ridiculousness that most spies in movies would have had to go through and just completely ignoring the situation。 Bringing Reality into the whole spy game gives the books that much greater product, seeing as someone ignoring all of the exciting gadgets and gizmos that the James Bond Characters usually would have had, and still giving in depth and valuable Action scenes。 This makes the book that much better。 This book, for me, Provides a sort of window view into another person's life from their standpoint。 I’d recommend S。S。 Secret Service to People 10-22 years of Age and rate this book 4。8 stars out of 5。 。。。more

This was by far one of the most complicated and eventful book in the series。 SPYDER is exceptionally good at making their plans, there almost flawless, ALMOST。 Ben Ripley has thwarted so many evil organizations plans, many students at spy school are furiously jealous of him being activated/gone on 5 missions。 (Which most of them included Murray Hill and SPYDER) So much happened in this book。 Warren actually is an agent for SPYDER!!! He was turned because Zoe, the girl he liked always was focused on Ben, so he was turned easily。 SPYDER'S plans are so complex, and are supposed to achieve multiple goals。 First, Warren can get revenge on Ben, and can be shown as the hero on the mission and continue to be a mole。 Second, a government official was to be killed during the bomb unknowingly slid into Ben's jacket, so they could create an amazing amount of chaos and mayhem, but also be able to blackmail the whole world because they have control of America's nuclear arsenal。 Third, they wanted to kill Gorsky, an arms dealer for some unknown reason。 (Probably because SPYDER's done dealing with him) Ben was able to thwart SPYDER'S plan at last, though narrowly。 If he didn't, HE would have been the person accused for all the crimes and for almost killing the president, along with all his friends。 。。。more
