The narrator tells the story of what you would do with the alien who landed in your book and what you would do or could do to help the alien repair his spaceship and get back to where he came from。 Colorful illustrations and comparing him/her to you。

An interactive book。 Starts of uncomfortably judgy of the 'weird' alien but is more friendly and welcoming by the end。 An interactive book。 Starts of uncomfortably judgy of the 'weird' alien but is more friendly and welcoming by the end。 。。。more

This is such a creative story。。。。 an alien in your book! I think this would be fun for kids because of the imaginative qualities it has。 The illustrations are also fun with the alien, but could perhaps be more detailed, but just my opinion! Cute book。

The kids really enjoyed participating in the book。 Second time around though they refused to make fun of the alien。 Such compassion and caring。 They loved and it really engaged them the more they heard it

For: alien fans; readers who are looking for a silly participatory book。Possible red flags: panic; characters in peril; feeling alone/scared/different。

I read the book in Dutch, English review below Naast zijn muziek vind ik de boeken van Tom Fletcher super om te lezen。 Nu lijken de titels allemaal op elkaar, alleen de hoofdpersoon van het boek is anders。En alle boeken zijn interactief, maar daarna houdt de vergelijking op。 De verhalen zijn elke keer weer anders en erg leuk bedacht。Next to his music I really like the books Tom Fletcher writes。 All the book titles are almost the same, only the main character is a different one。And all the books I read the book in Dutch, English review below Naast zijn muziek vind ik de boeken van Tom Fletcher super om te lezen。 Nu lijken de titels allemaal op elkaar, alleen de hoofdpersoon van het boek is anders。En alle boeken zijn interactief, maar daarna houdt de vergelijking op。 De verhalen zijn elke keer weer anders en erg leuk bedacht。Next to his music I really like the books Tom Fletcher writes。 All the book titles are almost the same, only the main character is a different one。And all the books are interactive, but then the similarity stops。 Every book has it's own funny story。 。。。more

And a cute one he is。 Our book was just one of his adventures though and I'm glad we were along for the ride。 And a cute one he is。 Our book was just one of his adventures though and I'm glad we were along for the ride。 。。。more

Funny and interactive for storytime。 At first I didn't like the beginning when the reader criticizes the alien due to it's appearance and said due to that it doesn't belong。 I just felt uncomfortable reading that。 Happy to see the reader redeems himself Funny and interactive for storytime。 At first I didn't like the beginning when the reader criticizes the alien due to it's appearance and said due to that it doesn't belong。 I just felt uncomfortable reading that。 Happy to see the reader redeems himself 。。。more

It’s time for another Who’s in Your Book? book。 This book’s Who is an adorable little alien whose spaceship has crashed through its pages。I managed to find an excerpt at Penguin UK so prepare yourself for image overload! The interaction begins almost straight away because we need to find out just Who has invaded our book。[image error][image error][image error]No! Interactive book that would be fun for PreK kids。 Works best as a book that the child can manipulate while the child-caregiver reads。 Love the illustrations and the humor。

Rebecca Anne

Another wonderfully interactive book as we help Alien find a new home and friends after he lands on planet Earth。

Meredith

Cute。 Will use for PreK when we can all touch the same books again。

Syntha Green

Really cute

Such an adorable way to be interactive with a book AND teach children about acceptance and diversity。

Ditmaal zit er geen monstertje in je boek, nee, ditmaal is het een alien! Gecrasht in je boek! Oh jee!

Tom Fletcher does it again。 I love all these books, especially for storytime。 They're so interactive that kids stay engaged the whole time。 And I LOVE that the monster makes an appearance in this one and becomes the alien's friend。 The illustrations are so stinking cute。 New storytime favorite, right here。 Love it。 Tom Fletcher does it again。 I love all these books, especially for storytime。 They're so interactive that kids stay engaged the whole time。 And I LOVE that the monster makes an appearance in this one and becomes the alien's friend。 The illustrations are so stinking cute。 New storytime favorite, right here。 Love it。 。。。more

In the same vein of "The Monster at the End of This Book" and "Shake the Magic Tree," this very brightly illustrated book reminds me of that Black Books episode where Bernard & Manny write a children's book -- there's something condescending about it。 But the kids enjoyed it, and it's getting a fair amount of checkouts in the library so go ahead and get it, if only for the really cute illustrations。 In the same vein of "The Monster at the End of This Book" and "Shake the Magic Tree," this very brightly illustrated book reminds me of that Black Books episode where Bernard & Manny write a children's book -- there's something condescending about it。 But the kids enjoyed it, and it's getting a fair amount of checkouts in the library so go ahead and get it, if only for the really cute illustrations。 。。。more

We like books with aliens and we also like books that interact with the readers by asking for assistance to help the characters。 So, this was a really fun book to come across and read while we were doing our space unit study。 Perfect for preschool aged children。

What a fun read aloud! This is an interactive, silly, fun book about an alien stuck in your book。 Things get turned upside down (literally) trying to get him out! The illustrations are so cute。 It reminds me of the old Grover book, "There's a Monster at the End of This Book" mixed with "Press Here" "Mix It Up" books by Herve Tullet。 What a fun read aloud!
