2。5 stars。 The title doesn’t match the story and neither does the cover art。 Once I started reading I realized the trajectory was clear， which doesn’t necessarily ruin the journey。 In this case I ended up not caring about or being able to relate to these elitists beyond their struggle with infertility。 I’m glad at least the truth of that struggle is starting to be told in all different genres。

I love books like this…you’re reading along thinking yeah I got this I know what happened and then wham the author out of nowhere takes a huge leap… love this book。。 how evil can we be…a new level to the cattiness of women。。 or watch who you make friends with。。 twisted… the author has a way with words… amazing imagery that provides you as the reader with phenomenal pictures。

4 point something。 Entertaining and suspenseful。 As the author points it out in her Acknowledgments， this novel was written with every cheater in mind （and even if one doesn't have any first-hand experience with cheating， one surely has an opinion， fears or other feelings pertaining to the act）。 At the center of the action we have two married couples， recently become neighbours and the cat and cat chase that ensues。 On the one hand we have William and Cat （well-chosen name）， opulently rich and i 4 point something。 Entertaining and suspenseful。 As the author points it out in her Acknowledgments， this novel was written with every cheater in mind （and even if one doesn't have any first-hand experience with cheating， one surely has an opinion， fears or other feelings pertaining to the act）。 At the center of the action we have two married couples， recently become neighbours and the cat and cat chase that ensues。 On the one hand we have William and Cat （well-chosen name）， opulently rich and influential （their unattainable life makes you sigh） and the new couple moving next door - Neena and Matt - struggling to keep up with the lifestyle。 Neena is a typical golddigger and she has set her eyes on William （he's rich AND handsome）， jealously coveting Cat's whole life and determined to get a piece of it at least。 The men become friends， but the women's friendship is a facade - there's a war going on and they will both lose。 But one of them will outwit the other in unexpected but admirable ways。 The chapters are fluid， there's plenty dialogue - nothing highlightable or memorable in terms of food for thought - but if this novel was a series， you'd binge-watch it。 Just like that， you can read on and on， just one more chapter。 It's engrossing， hence it serves as a good distraction。 There are alternating perspectives - you're either reading Cat or Neena's thoughts。 Also， as far as completely unlikable characters go， I think Neena takes the cake。 Quite hard to sympathise with。 I also thought the plot was cleverly put-together; started with a turning point in the future and then it went back to the beginning， making you wonder and look forward to finding out what led to that。 I'll be sure to pick up Torre's other books too （"The girl in 6E" already on my Kindle）。 。。。more

Unstoppable I loved this book from the moment I started reading I was hooked， both Cat and Neena are both similar and they surely hate each other。 It was just fun reading the steamy moments and the twist that came it caught me by surprise。 It was a great read from beginning to end， it was full of magnetism。
