Sarah Smith,
Alright! I am a big feeler and was curious about what I could learn from this book。 It is a pretty low reading level and I honestly think it would be a good read for junior high/high school kids。 I learned some helpful and new things though and I enjoyed it。
Albert M Woods,
Very instructiveThe author has taken many ideas and has combined then into one easy to read resource。 Very simply read, and understood

Robert V。 McClintock,
Page turnerGreat book and hits different perspectives that we all can be guilty of。 Good tips on how to take anger, jealously etc。 And turn it something to help one grow。 Definitely recommend this book!

A nice book full of insight and theories to actually master your emotions。It starts by explaining what emotions actually are, how we are different from them and how we shouldn't identify ourselves with them。 We are not our emotions and we "own" them。It also includes a lot of references to other books, some of them which I read already, some which I now have added to my queue (long queue) in order to gather even more information about the subject。This book is particularly helpful if you really st A nice book full of insight and theories to actually master your emotions。It starts by explaining what emotions actually are, how we are different from them and how we shouldn't identify ourselves with them。 We are not our emotions and we "own" them。It also includes a lot of references to other books, some of them which I read already, some which I now have added to my queue (long queue) in order to gather even more information about the subject。This book is particularly helpful if you really struggle with strong emotions, or if you find yourself being transported entirely by them, entering an "auto-pilot" mode when you're angry, or sad, and realise you've done things you wouldn't (this is the lower-higher brain difference in action, when you react to emotions and instincts, it's not your real you acting upon them)。I enjoyed the reading and it didn't take long。 It contains a workbook as well, which I now plan to go over and complete。 (not sure if the author suggests doing it alongside reading or only afterwards)。 。。。more

Rakesh,
This book can be used as quick guide to find your motivation back when feeling down。It tells us about mind control and how to detach yourself from the emotion and the feelings that effect your mood and behavior。 Mainly focuses on one thing that the emotion is not us, it's our interpretation and repetitions of the event/thought that causes all the problems。Thanks to the Author for bringing out such a things about emotions and their interpretation。 This book can be used as quick guide to find your motivation back when feeling down。It tells us about mind control and how to detach yourself from the emotion and the feelings that effect your mood and behavior。 Mainly focuses on one thing that the emotion is not us, it's our interpretation and repetitions of the event/thought that causes all the problems。Thanks to the Author for bringing out such a things about emotions and their interpretation。 。。。more

Offers Some Good AdviceSome of the comments and recommendations surrounding depression and mental health conditions came across as insensitive to me。 However, many of the other tips were helpful, particularly those on caring about what others think, learning that you become what you think about, and leveraging the power of positive thoughts leading to positive action。 Another main theme is to try as often as you can to focus on the present moment and to get busy completing a task if you find you Offers Some Good AdviceSome of the comments and recommendations surrounding depression and mental health conditions came across as insensitive to me。 However, many of the other tips were helpful, particularly those on caring about what others think, learning that you become what you think about, and leveraging the power of positive thoughts leading to positive action。 Another main theme is to try as often as you can to focus on the present moment and to get busy completing a task if you find yourself lost in negative thoughts。 I caught myself skimming some parts because I work in wellness, so it wasn’t new information for me。 But I still believe this has helpful tips for any level of experience with understanding emotional well-being。 。。。more

I’m not sure if this book is for everybody, but it undeniably helped me to see things about my negative thought patterns that I knew were there but couldn’t quite find the right words to describe them。It helped me so much that I’ll most likely pick up his other books。 They only downside was that the book contains some advertising within it, for Amazon Audible, which I consider to be unfair and underhanded since I paid for the Kindle version。 The price was great but still。。。 please don’t include I’m not sure if this book is for everybody, but it undeniably helped me to see things about my negative thought patterns that I knew were there but couldn’t quite find the right words to describe them。It helped me so much that I’ll most likely pick up his other books。 They only downside was that the book contains some advertising within it, for Amazon Audible, which I consider to be unfair and underhanded since I paid for the Kindle version。 The price was great but still。。。 please don’t include advertisements in paid-for books。This book was incredibly helpful to me。 Thoughtful and well written with usable advice。 。。。more

As an introvert myself, this book is sorta applicable for me to get more insightful arguments and narratives about emotions and feelings。 At times, people would say that it’s difficult to deal with their own emotions。 I do agree with that。 Even at this age, I have no idea how to recognize what kind of emotions do I have。 These narratives pave the way to understand what I want to know more。 Dealing with ourselves would never be easy, no matter how many self-help books that I might read, it still As an introvert myself, this book is sorta applicable for me to get more insightful arguments and narratives about emotions and feelings。 At times, people would say that it’s difficult to deal with their own emotions。 I do agree with that。 Even at this age, I have no idea how to recognize what kind of emotions do I have。 These narratives pave the way to understand what I want to know more。 Dealing with ourselves would never be easy, no matter how many self-help books that I might read, it still feels like I don’t know many things revolving around me。 And this book is one of those books that I think is recommended for people to read。 Thibaut wrote how to excess ourselves, how to mind-controlling our emotions, and how to handle negativity in such a straightforward way。 That’s what I like the most from this book, I think。 Hence I gave 5 stars for this book。 Well-written! 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 It's such a great book about emotions and how we can identify them and control them。 It passes and not a part of us as it's an ever-changing issue。 I learnt a lot that I knew but consolidated my understanding and will reread this as I find it helpful and how t grow as a person。 It's such a great book about emotions and how we can identify them and control them。 It passes and not a part of us as it's an ever-changing issue。 I learnt a lot that I knew but consolidated my understanding and will reread this as I find it helpful and how t grow as a person。 。。。more
