First volume had the final of the battle with the elite for and the Kanto region with our favorite characters。 But started up the Pokémon Gold and Silver in the Johto region with the new series of Pokémon, new characters and a revamped team rocket。 Honestly I enjoy reading these so much because I grew up on everything Pokémon and these are fast and fun to read。

Overall another great volume in the series。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 3/3 Stars。This collector's edition bundles the last volume of the Yellow arc and the first two volumes of the Gold & Silver arc。 It wraps up the Yellow storyline in a satisfying way, but leaves with one last question that will (hopefully) be answered in the Gold & Silver arc。 It is fun to see old favourites return in both the Yellow and the Gold & Silver arc。 3/3 Stars。This collector's edition bundles the last volume of the Yellow arc and the first two volumes of the Gold & Silver arc。 It wraps up the Yellow storyline in a satisfying way, but leaves with one last question that will (hopefully) be answered in the Gold & Silver arc。 It is fun to see old favourites return in both the Yellow and the Gold & Silver arc。 。。。more

I don't really know how to feel about the Pokémon series yet。 I don't like the battle things or the technical Pokémon battle stuff, not my thing。 The actual story though is okay。 I don't care for Team Rocket and I'm not impressed with making the rival the tsundere bestie of the main character。 I keep reading it though because I do like the story, seeing how they make the gym leaders have different backgrounds and we see our old favorite places and characters。 I don't really know how to feel about the Pokémon series yet。 I don't like the battle things or the technical Pokémon battle stuff, not my thing。 The actual story though is okay。 I don't care for Team Rocket and I'm not impressed with making the rival the tsundere bestie of the main character。 I keep reading it though because I do like the story, seeing how they make the gym leaders have different backgrounds and we see our old favorite places and characters。 。。。more

It was fine! Not as exciting following Gold as it was Red or Yellow。 I comparatively struggled getting through Gold’s story。 Just not as clever, crafty, or “how the heck’s he gonna get out of that?!” as the other main characters, nor as endearing。 And I don’t quite get why Exbo needs Croconaw to return home。 Seems forced。 Or why Gold can’t possibly leave Silver alone besides the Croconaw connection。 Silver’s hidden backstory is pretty easily figured out I think, but it’s not confirmed yet。 Feels It was fine!
