I am cheating a little， as I actually began reading this at the end of last year to my Year 4 class！The illustrations are fantastic， and I found this book to be a great introduction to the works of Dickens。 I was sad that A Christmas Carol was not included in this collection， and it frustrated me that the ultimate fate of Mr。 Wickfield and Uriah Heep was quite suddenly unresolved。 However， I would highly recommend this book as a stepping stone into the world of Dickens。

This book had a lot of potential。 Unfortunately， it was condensed so much that it was almost hard to follow。 It also felt very dumbed down。
