Great starting point for new founders and new PMs。

Very practical guide on how to iterate on hypotheses and ideas。 I kind of treated it like a textbook, making notes, ideas and pointers for real-life applications。 Unlike many product books which have a lot of fluff and less content, this one is packed with useful information on every page。

Too basic and a bit outdated

Awesome book, for everyone in (digital related)business。 Products, services, platforms。 Product managers, ceos, engineers, project managers, analysts, marketers, designers, … anyone can find something for themselves。 But still book is very easy to read and not shallow or generic knowledge。Well done/written。

This book is the Product Manager’s Bible。 If you are a newbie in PM, make sure you read this book and then reread some chapters of it when you use is in your practical work。 If you are an experienced one, make sure you have the book on your dear to revisit it sometimes to keep rocking as a PM rather than doing a routine job。Kudos to the author!! He is like an elder coach patiently guiding you to become a better PM and to love being a PM :)

Very practical guide on building, but also extremely opinionated to a fault -- not everything is as black and white as pictured in the book。

Will definitely read this again as it contains the blue print to build a great product using the build measure learn cycle。 The last chapter on the summary is also a very useful checklist。

A great read for product development and entrepreneurship。 It's consisted of very practical, simple, and logical ideas。 It's vital to have the right basis, and that's what this book offers you。 One of the stunning concepts is to define well the Problem Space and then jump to Solution one。 It's a simple but very crucial step during the development of a product。 I also like the author's interpretation about the Build, Measure, Cycle and how he describes it like Hypothesize, Design, Test, Learn。At A great read for product development and entrepreneurship。 It's consisted of very practical, simple, and logical ideas。 It's vital to have the right basis, and that's what this book offers you。 One of the stunning concepts is to define well the Problem Space and then jump to Solution one。 It's a simple but very crucial step during the development of a product。 I also like the author's interpretation about the Build, Measure, Cycle and how he describes it like Hypothesize, Design, Test, Learn。At the beginning of the year, I've started reading the book as trying to read it iteratively and try to put many of the ideas and concepts into practice。 However, I would recommend going through it first and then revisiting some of the sections when you need it。I don't regret that I bought the book on paper for my personal library some time ago。 Recommend it to anyone interested in building and launching products。 In my opinion, it's a must-have! 。。。more

It's an incredibly handy book for anyone who wants to be a product manager, and I think it's a good read for anyone looking to get into that role。 It's also great as a sort of guidebook and refresher for people who work in product in general。 I would've loved to have a book like this when I started working on the product space。 I may or may not be cracking this book open from time to time, but do feel that it's a very helpful book for anyone working in product。 It's an incredibly handy book for anyone who wants to be a product manager, and I think it's a good read for anyone looking to get into that role。 It's also great as a sort of guidebook and refresher for people who work in product in general。 I would've loved to have a book like this when I started working on the product space。 I may or may not be cracking this book open from time to time, but do feel that it's a very helpful book for anyone working in product。 。。。more

Interesting book, quite long, maybe unnecessary so, if I had to summarise the book, it would be this: don't start building your product immediately, just test first, design prototypes are more than enough。 At least he says so。 Interesting book, quite long, maybe unnecessary so, if I had to summarise the book, it would be this: don't start building your product immediately, just test first, design prototypes are more than enough。 At least he says so。 。。。more

Well written, clear and concise。 Explains all the components that goes into building successful products that customers will want。

Nothing really new is brought into this book, but it does sum up nicely what others have brought to the product management field。 This book mostly applies to web and ios/android applications, it is not great for helping on complex desktop products, but many of the principles apply of course。Overall not a page turner like other books on the subject, but a good primer none the less。

I started the book back in 2018 as one of my first Product Management books and it was stable 5 stars。 However, after the first half the tempo slowed down quite a bit, I managed to read tens of other PM books in the meantime and by the time I returned to this years later had to drop the rating significantly。In general it's ok, but there are better books on the topic AND this one hasn't aged that well - back when this came out there weren't that many material on PM and by now the field has mature I started the book back in 2018 as one of my first Product Management books and it was stable 5 stars。 However, after the first half the tempo slowed down quite a bit, I managed to read tens of other PM books in the meantime and by the time I returned to this years later had to drop the rating significantly。In general it's ok, but there are better books on the topic AND this one hasn't aged that well - back when this came out there weren't that many material on PM and by now the field has matured significantly and a lot of the language seems a bit silly or obvious now。 。。。more

This playbook walks through the hows of innovating with digital solutions。 The focus is on customer facing applications that you hope to monetize。 A good chunk of the book doesn't quite fit when you're looking for suggestions on how to innovate on the "less sexy solutions", such as internal tools that your Operations team uses。 You can't quite quantify the tangible benefits when you can't measure CPMs。 However, there's still great ideas here in terms of how to apply agility in your delivery and This playbook walks through the hows of innovating with digital solutions。 The focus is on customer facing applications that you hope to monetize。 A good chunk of the book doesn't quite fit when you're looking for suggestions on how to innovate on the "less sexy solutions", such as internal tools that your Operations team uses。 You can't quite quantify the tangible benefits when you can't measure CPMs。 However, there's still great ideas here in terms of how to apply agility in your delivery and looking at the broader customer/end-user experience。 Being able to create mock-ups and wireframes, as well as being able to prioritize your backlog, are a key part of a delivery team's toolkit。 。。。more

This is incredible - I highlighted so many parts thinking “oh yeah I should do that” and “that would be a good way to do this”。 Naturally I know lots of these parts from my years as a product manager but never seen it laid out in such a logical e2e blueprint - wish I’d read it sooner!!
