Summary

It’s Robert Kiyosaki’s position that “It is our educational system that causes the gap between the rich and everyone else。” He laid the foundation for many of his messages in the international best-seller Rich Dad Poor Dad — the #1 Personal Finance book of all time — and in Why the Rich Are Getting Richer, he makes his case…

In this book, the reader will learn why the gap between the rich and everyone else grows wider。

In this book, the reader will get an explanation of why savers are losers。

In this book, the reader will find out why debt and taxes make the rich richer。

In this book, the reader will learn why traditional education actually causes many highly educated people, such as Robert’s poor dad, to live poorly。

In this book, the reader will find out why going to school, working hard, saving money, buying a house, getting out of debt, and investing for the long term in the stock market is the worst financial advice for most people。

In this book, the reader will learn the answers Robert found on his life-long search, after repeatedly asking the question, “When will we learn about money?”

In this book, the reader will find out why real financial education may never be taught in schools。

In this book, the reader will find out “What financially education is… really。”

I have not read Robert Kiyosaki's first book- Rich Dad Poor Dad。 This is my first; may be that is why I liked it。 The author says that this is a graduate student's version of Rich Dad Poor Dad so I felt I can start with this。 The author 's explanation of how the rich handle taxes and debts are insightful。 Anyone would learn something from the book。 But for the most part, he promotes his company and his CPA which is quite irritating and many charts, diagrams are repeated number of times。 Chapter I have not read Robert Kiyosaki's first book- Rich Dad Poor Dad。 This is my first; may be that is why I liked it。 The author says that this is a graduate student's version of Rich Dad Poor Dad so I felt I can start with this。 The author 's explanation of how the rich handle taxes and debts are insightful。 Anyone would learn something from the book。 But for the most part, he promotes his company and his CPA which is quite irritating and many charts, diagrams are repeated number of times。 Chapter with USA's (or world's) financial history, US dollar , petrodollar etc are most interesting areas in the book。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Some ideas in the book are fine, but the book itself feels like the guy is continuously praising himself and promoting his own products, repeating the same ideas over and over again。 Some information was useful, such as the historical info on the S&P 500 and the USD-gold correlation, but he keeps on rambling about how you should invest into real estate because it produces basic income。 To me this felt like basic financial education stuff and a pretty obvious thing I thoight everyone could figure Some ideas in the book are fine, but the book itself feels like the guy is continuously praising himself and promoting his own products, repeating the same ideas over and over again。 Some information was useful, such as the historical info on the S&P 500 and the USD-gold correlation, but he keeps on rambling about how you should invest into real estate because it produces basic income。 To me this felt like basic financial education stuff and a pretty obvious thing I thoight everyone could figure out。Moreover, there is no concrete example of an actual innovative idea which he used in real estate to make money。 He describes at some point how "buying a Porsche made him richer", when in fact he simply bought a property whose rent was so high that it paid itself plus the monthly deposit for the Porsche loan and made him some money on top of this。 Which basically means that he paid for the car with the income from the rent, an idea that is indeed good, but it is iterated to oblivion thousands of times。 Perhaps I expected too much of this book。 I understand how it comes in handy for Americans, where the education loan system is flawed and how the Nixon shock led to a hyperinflation, but apart from this historical information I learnt absolutely nothing。 。。。more

The book is about financial education and tells your about how to gain financial independence。 I have read kiyoski others books and I have come to the conclusion that most of the stuff he write is now repetitive。 If you have read “ rich dad poor dad” you won’t find anything new which was not mentioned there except the introduction of hi CPA Tom。 Every now and then ,MR Tom came from nowhere and being appreciated and it goes so repetitive that does not make any sense。 I don’t thing that a writer l The book is about financial education and tells your about how to gain financial independence。 I have read kiyoski others books and I have come to the conclusion that most of the stuff he write is now repetitive。 If you have read “ rich dad poor dad” you won’t find anything new which was not mentioned there except the introduction of hi CPA Tom。 Every now and then ,MR Tom came from nowhere and being appreciated and it goes so repetitive that does not make any sense。 I don’t thing that a writer like him should praise the person and promote his books and work on every single page。 。。。more

The first financial and Robert Kiyosaki book I've read。 It was interesting at first, but it got annoyingly repetitive。 I'd say the value of this book can be condensed into a single chapter。 He should've wrote 1 book with 26 (the amount of books he published) chapters。 The first financial and Robert Kiyosaki book I've read。 It was interesting at first, but it got annoyingly repetitive。 I'd say the value of this book can be condensed into a single chapter。 He should've wrote 1 book with 26 (the amount of books he published) chapters。 。。。more

The book contains much repetition of the “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” and some thoughts are pretty repetitive without which you can finish the book much faster。 The good thing is that this book contains some practical examples, historical facts, reasons and consequences, many other book recommendations and some really good quotes。My favorite are:“If you argue with an idiot, there are two idiots”“I have not failed。 I have just found 10,000 ways that won’t work” (Thomas Edison)“You can always quit。 Then w The book contains much repetition of the “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” and some thoughts are pretty repetitive without which you can finish the book much faster。 The good thing is that this book contains some practical examples, historical facts, reasons and consequences, many other book recommendations and some really good quotes。My favorite are:“If you argue with an idiot, there are two idiots”“I have not failed。 I have just found 10,000 ways that won’t work” (Thomas Edison)“You can always quit。 Then why start now?“ 。。。more

Enough to get you motivated to move to the I quadrant。 But I think the book does no more job other than that。 The B and I quadrant is well deserved to specific people (the one who got financial education, as noted by this book), but for the one who seek real social equality this is not for you。

Basically I had to force myself to finish this book。 The whole book is just full of repetitive sentences/points, and also him doing self promoting about his company and his old book rich dad, poor dad。 It is a 300+ pages book, and it waits until 150+ to enter the main topic of which is the discussion of financial education。 Before that it’s just the same stories told over and over again。 Definitely the worst and most boring finance book I’ve ever read。

Chris

Loved Rich Dad Poor Dad。 This book is painful to try and get through。 Repetitive and tells you on every page you need to be financial literate, and shamefully plugs his CPA Tom with an ad on every third page。 We get it。 Wouldn’t recommend this, plenty better options out there for finance education。

The basic point is that most of the human population are stupid sheep going down the path of destruction --> Go to school, get a job, invest in a 401k, save for retirement。 Listen and follow what Robert and Kim are doing to be different sheep。
