I liked “The Night Before Thanksgiving” a LOT， but this one was just okay。 The end added a whole new thing for my kiddo to be worried about — “Why are the parents crying？ Why are they sad” which hadn’t even entered her mind。 No need to impose adult emotions on little kids’ worries， I feel like the ending of the books was written for parents’ enjoyment rather than focusing on kids。
