It looks like my dislike for enemies-to-lovers stories also counts in classics。I think the symbolism， the theme of classism and overall historic setting of this book were interesting。 I also liked the writing style of the book。 BUT （please don't hate me） almost nothing happens？ I had a hard time reading more than 50 pages at the time， cause I did get bored while reading。 It looks like my dislike for enemies-to-lovers stories also counts in classics。I think the symbolism， the theme of classism and overall historic setting of this book were interesting。 I also liked the writing style of the book。 BUT （please don't hate me） almost nothing happens？ I had a hard time reading more than 50 pages at the time， cause I did get bored while reading。 。。。more

There is always a sense of adventure when reading a classic， a balance between whether or not it will live up to its fame。 And while Pride and Prejudice always seemed so very overrated to me， having read it， I can honestly say it is one of the greatest pieces of literature I have ever read。
