This book is long-winded。 The rest of the series is fun and concise， this book was like listening to a kid tell a story that would never end。 I get letting your readers hit that moment that everything is lost， but good grief， take a breath。 So a mediocre ending to a decent series。

I enjoyed this to a certain extent。 I LOVE the lunar chronicles， Cinder & Cress are defiantly my all time favorites of the entire series。 This book however just felt like it dragged on wayyyyy to long and should have only been at least a 400 page book rather then 800， i felt like i just kept reading over the same thing on and on again， how ever i was overall happy with how it wrapped up but i was slightly disappointed。 PS iko is my FAVORITE character ever！ she is so cute！

So， after this intense and long journey I finished a book series after years。 And I can’t believe i’m saying this， but i’m super happy with the ending of the series， but this review is spoiler-freeI was going to give 4 stars to this book because， as there were things that I loved and enjoyed that kept me fighting the urge to go do something else than reading， as there were things I absolutely disliked of it。 So first of all， can we talk about the development of all of the characters in this book So， after this intense and long journey I finished a book series after years。 And I can’t believe i’m saying this， but i’m super happy with the ending of the series， but this review is spoiler-freeI was going to give 4 stars to this book because， as there were things that I loved and enjoyed that kept me fighting the urge to go do something else than reading， as there were things I absolutely disliked of it。 So first of all， can we talk about the development of all of the characters in this book？ Like I loved it， and Winter got the best introduction ever。 Thorne became my favorite character of all， he was hilarious and so heartwarming to read。 Cress， was so cute as always and don’t get me started on iconic woman Scarlet， she can surely be one of the most strongest woman i’ve ever read of， as well as my dearest Cinder。 Cinder had an incredible development in this book （as well as in the others）， she aimed to become the best of herself in this book， and she surely did。 I’d really like to give Marissa an award for not adding unnecessary scenes just to make the book about 200 pages longer in comparison to others （Ehem CRESS AND SCARLET）。 The 850 pages were full of stories and development that had so much value， I never felt like I was reading a filler， which I was totally surprised， cause Cress was full of fillers。 However， as there are things I can keep listing that I loved about this book， nothing is truly perfect， so here are some of the things I disliked/hated。 I really hated the fact that Marissa Meyer， had made Winter so dependent on Jacin 。 Even when she was being a total badass， Jacin appeared again and treated her like she was extremely fragile， like dude， seriously。 And the worst part is that she would actually believe him， and thought of herself as weak。 Oh， and don’t get me started on the eye rolling。 I swear that within 2 pages I’ve read the sentence “Kai rolled his eyes” more than 5 times。 Like， why？？？In addition， I would’ve loved to read an epilogue， about their lives in 10 years or something。 But I felt happy with the end as it is。 Just a minor wish of mine。 All in all， the book was awesome。 And I really loved the fact that Marissa had thanked the readers for their support and that was amazing。 There’s nothing more I love than an author recognizing the people that supported them， took the time and payed money to read their books。 So thank you Marissa Meyer for this masterpiece called The Lunar Chronicles。 。。。more

I loved the new romantic duo introduced in this book， imo they are easily the most compelling and satisfying characters so far。 And while I’m not sure I’m satisfied with the actions Winter took in the climax of her arc， the rest of the endings were good。

This is a heftier chonkier book that I expected。 Like 800 pages。 I have to say I wasn’t bored。 It kept me going。 I wanted to find out the end… and I got there。 It had a pretty good ending。 I enjoyed the pairings and the banter。
