This book was not what I hoped it to be。 It was very dry and I was always wishing that they had organized the information differently or created interactive tutorials rather than a book to read and pick through to look up at the screen and back at the book and find where you were and back up at the screen again。 Mostly I wish they had been more direct for a hands on manual and that they didn't speak in certain terms that I'm not so familiar with without going through the trouble of defining them This book was not what I hoped it to be。 It was very dry and I was always wishing that they had organized the information differently or created interactive tutorials rather than a book to read and pick through to look up at the screen and back at the book and find where you were and back up at the screen again。 Mostly I wish they had been more direct for a hands on manual and that they didn't speak in certain terms that I'm not so familiar with without going through the trouble of defining them。 The book could have been made more straight forward， could have included an interactive learning disk， probably could have been made shorter without the extra fluff。 The way it was made just felt like a big wall。 So I'm moving on because it's not me， it's THIS BOOK！ 。。。more

Read this if you。。。 。。。 don't know how Google （err Bing） works。。。。 enjoy reading technical documentation。。。。 need a quick reference book for Windows 10。You could probably name this book 'Windows 10 - The Technical Manual' and that would hit very close to home。 Windows 10 Inside Out gives you an overview of all features of Windows 10 and explains what every setting does。。。 wait， what？ Like a manual？ Exactly！ And don't we love reading those！This book includes the 'Current Book Service' which means Read this if you。。。 。。。 don't know how Google （err Bing） works。。。。 enjoy reading technical documentation。。。。 need a quick reference book for Windows 10。You could probably name this book 'Windows 10 - The Technical Manual' and that would hit very close to home。 Windows 10 Inside Out gives you an overview of all features of Windows 10 and explains what every setting does。。。 wait， what？ Like a manual？ Exactly！ And don't we love reading those！This book includes the 'Current Book Service' which means you can get （free） updates for this book online。 This is quite important since Windows 10 has evolved a lot since the book was first released in 2016。 A new and updated version of the book is going to be released later this year （2018） so you may want to wait for the updated version to get a more current overview of Microsoft's service-based OS。Technical documentation can often be a 'dry' read and this is no exception。 I did not appreciate the strictly technical style and will most likely stay away from other books by this author （no offense）。 This IS a matter of preference， however。 。。。more
