Summary

In a frozen dystopia where inhabitants eat flesh to survive， can the destructive powers of fire bring salvation？

In the not-too-distant past， the Ice Witch blankets the world in snow， starvation， and madness， leading the inhabitants to seek their salvation in fire。 With that， an unusual destiny unfolds for two young orphans， Agni and Luna， blessed with the ability to regenerate。 But will this ability prove to be more of a curse than a blessing？

Wish， the leader of the Behemdorg escapees， finds he’s at a disadvantage when fighting the soldiers who continue pursuing them。 But all that changes with the sudden appearance of a mysterious spear-wielding girl and a masked man who are willing to lend their aid。 Meanwhile， will Agni have to perform that certain act once again for those who revere him？！

A bit too over the top， I mean ripping your own head off？？ The flames do cause constant regeneration in Agni， so it is plausible that he could be stronger， but how could he continue to use his body when his head is nearly off？ Agni’s character was also a bit all over the place。

Well holy shit， who knew this become a full blown action packed adventure。 The start continues to be funny as they film our Fire Punch man down and about。 But when they go to face the enemy， Agni （Fire Punch Man） decides he wants to change his ways。 He wants to SAVE lives。 And in doing so all his focus is on that now， changing his revenge ways。 This is until he meets a huge robot like fighter who beats the shit out of him。 So he tries to fight back。 This is a pretty exciting volume。 Quickest rea Well holy shit， who knew this become a full blown action packed adventure。 The start continues to be funny as they film our Fire Punch man down and about。 But when they go to face the enemy， Agni （Fire Punch Man） decides he wants to change his ways。 He wants to SAVE lives。 And in doing so all his focus is on that now， changing his revenge ways。 This is until he meets a huge robot like fighter who beats the shit out of him。 So he tries to fight back。 This is a pretty exciting volume。 Quickest read so far as it contains the MOST fighting， and crazy amount of "Wtf" moments。 The story is still pretty solid and we get some great emotion from Agni this time when he finally tries to say goodbye to Luna in his own way。 The ending left me wondering where we go from here。 A 4 out of 5。 。。。more

On the way to the city， Agni stops midway through a passage where slaves were locked up。 He hallucinates his younger self and wonders the reason for him holding on living。 He realizes now that his hatred for Doma was the only thing fueling him。 When he saw the captured humans， he changes course， abandons the original plan and decides to save them from the soldiers instead， much to Togata’s dismay。

Quite an improvement overall。 A lot of the edgy stuff remains， but in much lower volume， and handled more maturely overall。 This volume was a really interesting look at the main character Agni， and what he's really living for。 At the same time， questions are brought up about the direction the manga is going in parallel， which I thought was a great use of the already established meta angle the Director brings to the table。 Those meta elements are toned down a lot this volume in favor of action an Quite an improvement overall。 A lot of the edgy stuff remains， but in much lower volume， and handled more maturely overall。 This volume was a really interesting look at the main character Agni， and what he's really living for。 At the same time， questions are brought up about the direction the manga is going in parallel， which I thought was a great use of the already established meta angle the Director brings to the table。 Those meta elements are toned down a lot this volume in favor of action and drama， which I think was a good decision。 I think the mangaka found a good middle ground so that things don't feel too serious， almost feels like an inverse Golden Kamuy。 Now that the edge has been rounded off， this is shaping up to be a much more well rounded manga。 。。。more

Diese Reihe überrascht mich immer wieder mit neuen Gedanken und neuen Entscheidungen und sehr viel Aktion。 Bin sehr gespannt， wohin das noch führt， den das Ende war ein ziemlicher Cliffhanger。

This is what I was expecting when I picked up this series。 A knock down， drag out fight from a completely overpowered， over hyped， ‘hero’。 Basically a grittier， no comedy version of One Punch Man。 I’m not disappointed。 And the ending left us on such a big cliffhanger！！！This series has 8 volumes。

Maintenant que l’on comprend bien l’univers les personnages principaux deviennent le centre de l’attention et l’auteur l’a bien compris。 Ils se rebellent， gagnent en personnalité et en importance et ca fait du bien :-） avec une fin de tome digne d’un teaser de fin de saison j’ai vraiment hate de lire la suite ！
