Treasure hunters Remi and Sam Fargo are in Washington, DC looking for the final clue in a puzzle more than a decade old - a dangerous mystery which originally led to their teaming up。

For ten years ago, a chance meeting that threw Remi and Sam together led to the pair diving together for ancient sunken wrecks off the Greek coast。 But when a secretive billionaire decided he didn't want anyone diving in the seas near his operations, the pair found themselves in deep trouble。 Only now, returning ten years later, do they finally understand who and what they were up against。 For with the lost riches of Croesus lying somewhere in these waters, their formidable enemy won't be giving up easily。

Dear Ms。 Burcell:Pleased be advised a snub nose Smith & Wesson’s cylinder only holds five bullets。 If you had done even a smidgen of research, you would have known this。 Maybe it would have been wise to have a guy proof Wrath before it was published。 I’m not against it women writers。 I love Louise Penny and Nevada Barr。 However, in this case, I think you dropped the ball。 It just didn’t have the same vibe a usual Clive Cussler novel has。 I don’t think I’ll be reading any more Robin Burcell。 Rega Dear Ms。 Burcell:Pleased be advised a snub nose Smith & Wesson’s cylinder only holds five bullets。 If you had done even a smidgen of research, you would have known this。 Maybe it would have been wise to have a guy proof Wrath before it was published。 I’m not against it women writers。 I love Louise Penny and Nevada Barr。 However, in this case, I think you dropped the ball。 It just didn’t have the same vibe a usual Clive Cussler novel has。 I don’t think I’ll be reading any more Robin Burcell。 Regards。 。。。more

I've enjoyed all the Fargo books that I've read by Cussler, but this is the best! The Origin story if you will, how Remi and Sam met! Very delightful and exciting! Chapter 1 opens with Sam and Remi going to Meet S。 Julien Permutter, world authority on marine history。 Permutter asks about the reason they cane to see him which leads to a flash back to Sam meeting Remi。 Most of the book is the back story of Sam and Remi and their first adventure。A very enjoyable read。

What a transparent unlikely plot!! Unbelievable really and just not worth anyone’s time。

So in this book we get the back story on Sam and Remi Fargo; how they met, their first adventure, how they got rich, why they live overlooking the sea, how Sam got spy training, why Selma works for them, how they ended up married。 It's a little sappy, and that background is about 80% of the book。 Then we leap to the present where they finish the adventure they started 25 years ago。 It's a good story in a new part of the world。 The thrilling conclusion was rushed, a lot。 But overall it is a good So in this book we get the back story on Sam and Remi Fargo; how they met, their first adventure, how they got rich, why they live overlooking the sea, how Sam got spy training, why Selma works for them, how they ended up married。 It's a little sappy, and that background is about 80% of the book。 Then we leap to the present where they finish the adventure they started 25 years ago。 It's a good story in a new part of the world。 The thrilling conclusion was rushed, a lot。 But overall it is a good entertaining and engaging story like we expect from Mr Cussler。 I liked it。 。。。more

At last we get a thorough description of how the Fargo's story began。 Very nice。 The reading goes smoothly till the end of the book, and it takes 7 years to finish。 At last we get a thorough description of how the Fargo's story began。 Very nice。 The reading goes smoothly till the end of the book, and it takes 7 years to finish。 。。。more

The book Wrath of Poseidon is an adventure fiction novel by Clive Cussler and it is part of a series with the same characters。 Wrath of Poseidon is about a treasure called Poseidon's trident that is lost thousands of years ago。 When Remi flies to Greece for a diving trip, she and her friend are kidnapped by people who thought they witnessed the murder that they committed。 When Sam gets a weird call from Remi, he becomes suspicious and decides to fly out to Greece to see what is going on。 When he The book Wrath of Poseidon is an adventure fiction novel by Clive Cussler and it is part of a series with the same characters。 Wrath of Poseidon is about a treasure called Poseidon's trident that is lost thousands of years ago。 When Remi flies to Greece for a diving trip, she and her friend are kidnapped by people who thought they witnessed the murder that they committed。 When Sam gets a weird call from Remi, he becomes suspicious and decides to fly out to Greece to see what is going on。 When he gets there he notices that Remi and her dive friend are missing and have been kidnapped。 He is able to locate where Remi and her friend are being held and is able to break them out。 They then go on the island that is owned by the same person who kidnapped Remi to find evidence to prove that he is guilty。 They find explosives and figure out that they are smuggling drugs and they think they have enough evidence to prove him guilty but they have to use the explosives in order to escape。 Soon after this, they are told that the kidnapper and head of the drug running company has been arrested。 Ten years later when the kidnapper is released from jail he has two goals, to find the treasure and to kill Sam and Remi Fargo。 Sam and Remi then return to Greece for one final showdown, when they meet up with the kidnapper, they are able to defeat him and give him life in jail。 I rated this book a 5 out of 5 because of the constant action。If you liked any other book from the Fargo series then you will like Wrath of Poseidon by Clive Cussler。 。。。more

The Fargo’s are my favorite characters Cussler writes, and this was a really good book。 I love the backstory and how Sam and Remi met。 Greece made for a great backdrop too。 I love Cussler adventures because he always sends you someplace exotic。 This one felt different from the rest, mostly because the majority of the book is a flashback, but it really feels like you’re there watching all the events take place。 Cussler is very cinematic in his writing, and I always enjoy his books。

This is a great read and answers a lot of questions about Sam and Remi in the early days of their relationship。 We get kidnapping, gunfights, and of course lost treasure。 A good prequel laying the foundations for the novels。 Really looking forward to the next in this series just a shame Mr Cussler won't be involved。 This is a great read and answers a lot of questions about Sam and Remi in the early days of their relationship。 We get kidnapping, gunfights, and of course lost treasure。 A good prequel laying the foundations for the novels。 Really looking forward to the next in this series just a shame Mr Cussler won't be involved。 。。。more

This is my favorite Sam and Remi Fargo novel! And it is the last one that Clive Cussler wrote, because he died in February 2020, and Wrath of Poseidon was copyrighted and first published in 2020。 So from now on, all Fargo novels will be completely written by someone else; Cussler always used another person to c0-write them with him。 Now, to get to why this one was my favorite。 It backtracked the Fargo's relationship and romance to when they first met and were involved in their first adventure to This is my favorite Sam and Remi Fargo novel! Pretty good Fargo novel。 It mainly involves a flashback with how the Fargo's met, their first adventure and how they fell in love。 Nice action and introduction of the characters and how they became the people readers have followed for 11 books。 On a working vacation in Greece Remi inadvertently witnesses a crime and when kidnapped calls Sam who she had only been dating for a few weeks。 Sam leaves everything to rush across the world to try and save her and they become embroiled in an internationa Pretty good Fargo novel。 It mainly involves a flashback with how the Fargo's met, their first adventure and how they fell in love。 Nice action and introduction of the characters and how they became the people readers have followed for 11 books。 On a working vacation in Greece Remi inadvertently witnesses a crime and when kidnapped calls Sam who she had only been dating for a few weeks。 Sam leaves everything to rush across the world to try and save her and they become embroiled in an international crime cartel and treasure hunt。 。。。more

ExcellentI struggled with the last Fargo book and was disappointed in a Cussler book for the first time ever。 This however is a real return to form and I thoroughly enjoyed it。

Another fun read。 Typical Cussler novel。 Always holds my interest with far out action with just enough realism to make it plausible。 Looking forward to the next one with the Cussler name。

Gayle Adelmann

Love how he would do a little history lesson with each book!!!

Darby

Out of all the Sam and Remi books this has been my favorite。 It tells the story of how they met。

Jim McCulloch

Interesting story with much ancient Greek history along with a look at current island culture。 I found the amount of inane dialog to be distracting and somewhat boring。 The overall lack of testosterone in the story makes this first Sam and Remi story (for me) my last。 More sensitive readers will likely love it。

Paul-Baptiste

Loved getting the backstory on the Fargos。 And the current-day story was a fun Fargo adventure as always。

Cindy Batdorf

Good read。 Telling of how Sam and Remi met and their first find together。

Robert

A low powered entry in the series。 Told mostly in flashback as an origin story, I bogged down in the middle and despite repeated attempts couldn't get back into it for months。 A low powered entry in the series。 Told mostly in flashback as an origin story, I bogged down in the middle and despite repeated attempts couldn't get back into it for months。 。。。more
