Wow。 This book was a roller coaster。 I had my suspicions, but didn’t have it completely worked out。 I enjoyed this story and found it hard to put down。 I recommend it if you are looking for a good suspense book。

Hazel Bright

Fun to read a novel where most of the important characters are women。 A lot of unexpected twists。 Well done。

Ashley

🤯- that ending!? Told from multiple POV along two different timelines。 The audiobook has a full cast and gave the story so much more depth than just reading this physical book for me。 So so so good! I read this book in one sitting。 Could not put it down, and can’t wait to read it again!

Mary Kubica just keeps getting better and better!

Jennifer Kerchenfaut

One of the best books I’ve read in awhile!

WhowJust when you think you’ve figured it out, it turns around and surprises you。 Loved every page ! The character development was phenomenal。 The OB sequence was terrifying but so accurately described, unfortunately, as one that still occurs。 Read this book - you won’t be disappointed!

Billie

Suspense played out to the end of the novel。 Disturbing and unfortunately, believable。

Bridget Guetta

“People’s minds can deceive them, or they can be tricked into remembering things that never happened in the first place。” When two local women and one of their daughters go missing, the immediate thought is, are they connected? As the stories intertwine, everyone becomes a suspect。 Some great plot twists along the way。 I was satisfied with the ending, and really enjoyed this book。 It kept me guessing and on my toes。 4。5 stars!

Go ahead and mark this a to-read。 Easy page turner with smart twists and turns。 Except maybe the author rushed jurist a bit at the end to meet a deadline?? Regardless, give it a read this summer。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I’m not a fan of this author。 This book could have been written in 200 pages。 But we are dragged through pages and pages of useless information that has no real impact on the story。 It made me tired。 Of course we all knew it had to be someone close to the family。 The subplot of Jason and his wife didn’t add one thing to the story。 He wasn’t a nice person and should have been in prison just for beating his wife。 I won’t be rushing out to purchase any more of her books。 Glad I borrowed this one fr I’m not a fan of this author。 This book could have been written in 200 pages。 But we are dragged through pages and pages of useless information that has no real impact on the story。 It made me tired。 Of course we all knew it had to be someone close to the family。 The subplot of Jason and his wife didn’t add one thing to the story。 He wasn’t a nice person and should have been in prison just for beating his wife。 I won’t be rushing out to purchase any more of her books。 Glad I borrowed this one from the library。 。。。more

This was another really good suspense novel! I couldn't read it fast enough to find out the twist。 I didn't give it 5 stars because the ending seemed just a tad bit unrealistic BUT I really enjoyed it。 This was another really good suspense novel! So good!! I thought this was such a well thought out story。 I did feel like the ending was a little far fetched, but I still had a lot of fun with this one。

I flew through this book。 I enjoyed the multiple point of views which were both current and flashbacks。 The characters were flawed yet endearing。 There were some interesting connections and twists and turns to throw you off and keep you guessing。 Highly recommend!

Leah Ratchford

The flashback writing style with nothing but choppy sentences did it for me。 It was suspenseful, and I was eager to know the ending。 But there were so many instances where things seemed so unrealistic to me。 This definitely wasn’t my favorite summer read。

Claudette Germain

This was quite a story。 A woman missing after going for a run and then another one goes missing。 Told from different perspectives, timelines, the mystery kept me guessing how all the storylines will merge together。 This was a tense read from the beginning to the end。 Loved it。

Kathy

A fantastic book keeps you guessing until the end

Fran

SOOOO good!! Leaves you thinking what happened the whole book and you don’t find out till the very end!

Julie

Great book up until them end。 It just seemed to end abruptly when so much more wrap up was needed。 I just finished another book by this author and the same thing happened in that book。 Disappointed。

Leah White

A twist I never saw coming! This book is so good。 I couldn’t put it down and stayed up way past my bedtime。 I highly recommend!

Adriene

Who is Gus? Too disjointed。 So disappointed

Jennifer Gatto

This is a page turner。 It is written with dual timelines。 There were some surprises and twists。

Melissa Somoza

While this was a good mystery, it just didn’t keep me on the edge of my seat, desperately wanting to know what happened next。 It fell flat for me that even when the grand finale twist was revealed I was kinda meh about it。 It was too layered with changing POV’s, but at the same time not layered enough。

Griselda Alvarez

The beginning was a bit slow but after a few chapters if became fast paced and suspenseful。Eleven years ago, two women and a six-year-old girl went missing。 Told through multiple POVs, where we jump from both past and present perspectives。

Shirley Martin

I absolutely loved this book! There was twists and plot turns I never saw coming until they appeared on the page! If you like mystery, this book is for you! A MUST read for Crime Junkies!

Debra

So good!

Lee Anna Mullikin

Loved this book。 the concept, the characters, the twists and turns。 At first I thought I may need a spreadsheet just to keep track of who is who in this novel but once it picks up speed, it's easy to get a handle on who is interacting with whom。 Highly recommend。 Loved this book。 the concept, the characters, the twists and turns。 At first I thought I may need a spreadsheet just to keep track of who is who in this novel but once it picks up speed, it's easy to get a handle on who is interacting with whom。 Highly recommend。 。。。more
