Summary

My father made a terrible mistake。 One I’m left paying for。

As a wolf shifter growing up in a strong pack, I should be living my best life。 But after my father tried to kill the alpha, I’m labeled an outcast, traitor, less than dirt。

When I can't take pack life any longer, I run, but apparently they don't like losing their punching bag。 Torin, the alpha’s son, drags me back before my first shift。。。 a shift that will reveal my true mate。

I never could have predicted who mine would be, but the moment my wolf looks upon him, I’m filled with hope for a brighter future。

After all, no one ever rejects their true mate, right?
Wrong。 Very wrong。

When the wolves attack, my soul screams for vengeance, and somehow I touch the shadow world。 Somehow I bring him to our lands。

The Shadow Beast。 Our shifter god。 The devil himself。

Turns out being rejected by my mate was only the beginning。

Absolutely trash。 So repetitive and nothing really intriguing

Read only!! For the love of the gods…do NOT purchase the audiobook 😖。 The guy who does Shadow’s voice sounds like he’s a 50yr old British man。 The girl narrator was really good, however they both need to brush up on their pronunciation of folklore terms。 All that being said。 I absolutely loved this book! 5 stars for Kindle 😍😍I’m on to read the next, unless she changes the male narrator lol。

ShadowGreat introduction into a new world! I loved Mera and how she was written。 I have a love/hate relationship with rejected mates。 It breaks my heart but it makes for an amazing conflict。 This one didn’t disappoint。 I like how Mera handled her situation and can’t wait to see where her story leads。

Honestly, it's been a while since I read such a good fantasy book。 With a strong, unapologetic and funny young girl, Rejected tells the story of a shifter who is willing to fight with everything she has to survive —even a god。The story unfolds masterfully until the final moments of the book, leaving us wanting more and thanking the author for this being a trilogy。 Honestly, it's been a while since I read such a good fantasy book。 With a strong, unapologetic and funny young girl, Rejected tells the story of a shifter who is willing to fight with everything she has to survive —even a god。The story unfolds masterfully until the final moments of the book, leaving us wanting more and thanking the author for this being a trilogy。 。。。more

Reading all the 5 star reviews I thought it would be better, but。。。 it's just okIt's interesting enough book, although there is little done and solved during the whole book。。Some parts of the world building reminded me of bits a pieces from other books。 So for me it was like a mix from all the best books, and then it's not even explored in this book to the best of its abitities。。。 it's munched all together and produced mediocre kind of world description。。There are lots of inner monologues that c Reading all the 5 star reviews I thought it would be better, but。。。 it's just okIt's interesting enough book, although there is little done and solved during the whole book。。Some parts of the world building reminded me of bits a pieces from other books。 So for me it was like a mix from all the best books, and then it's not even explored in this book to the best of its abitities。。。 it's munched all together and produced mediocre kind of world description。。There are lots of inner monologues that change directions 180 degrees in either directions。 And the actions do not match with the monologes。。。 Reading some of them made me think of the Heroine as a strong and mature woman。。。 but most actions are teenage-like, and the whole bet to "loose the virginity" is so immature and cring-worthy, I almost DFNed it at that point。The mystery of her abilities or of the Shadow world apparently were not as important as virginity。 Nooo, why would you care about it, if you haven't been laid yet??You have to be bullied to finally start paying attention and to start exploring half-heartedly about those mysteries。。。There is no real effort to find anything out, and the whole "talk back" while being bullied is not being as strong as she thinks it is。Growing up alone and being bullied makes you smart enough to trust your instincts (add to that animal wolf instinct)。 It give you ability to pause, and understand your opponent, find weakness and apply that knowledge in fighting back using multiple techniques depending on the person you fight in the particular time and situation you are in。 Sometimes you just need to know when and how to avoid the conflict, or when shut up for sheer self-preservation or when to your brain fight back, or when to use you strength, or when to use your "smart come-backs"。So the whole bulling thing does not match with the main character outcome。 She does not use her instincts at all。 She thinks she looks strong and witty? Hm。。 but most of the times she looks like "stupid and immature teenager"。Also if you could have rejected the mate bond by yourself as she started doing and was interrupted, why not do it again as soon as she found another opportunity? So even though the book has potential, it's still lacking。 。。。more

I expected it will be with less action and more soapy。 It's mysterious and addictive, you can't stop reading just because you want to discover all their secrets。 I expected it will be with less action and more soapy。 It's mysterious and addictive, you can't stop reading just because you want to discover all their secrets。 。。。more

Tall, dark, and broody。。。。my kind of man。 Shadow sure does know how to get a woman's juices flowing。 The humor and the drama was just what I was needing after my previous read。 I do however wish there would have been more smut and considering the cover I was really surprised that there wasn't more。 Hopefully the next has so much more。 Tall, dark, and broody。。。。my kind of man。 Shadow sure does know how to get a woman's juices flowing。 The humor and the drama was just what I was needing after my previous read。 I do however wish there would have been more smut and considering the cover I was really surprised that there wasn't more。 Hopefully the next has so much more。 。。。more

So Many emotionsI swear this book had me crying, laughing and pissed simultaneously。 Reading about all the abuse Mera put up with and how it made her stronger was amazing。 I love how she fights for what she wants even though she is being pulled around especially not taking shit from Shadow beast

Guys, okay, so, this book was fucking AMAZING!!!I was captivated from the get go。Mera is the sort of main character I love。 She takes no shit and is absolutely herself and she also doesn’t back down from a fight。 I love that。The journey we’re taken on, like, I can’t even comprehend that it was only just all in one book! There is so MUCH but it’s covered so well。The romance is slow burning but I’m okay with that for this book, I feel like when it all happens it will be well worth the wait。 I real Guys, okay, so, this book was fucking AMAZING!!!I was captivated from the get go。Mera is the sort of main character I love。 She takes no shit and is absolutely herself and she also doesn’t back down from a fight。 I love that。The journey we’re taken on, like, I can’t even comprehend that it was only just all in one book! Some of the best of us can relate to a time in our lives where we’ve felt unaccepted。 It changes some for good and some cant handle it。 This little wolf has been let down, broken, outcast, but she never lost heart。 I think this is why like her so much。 And, every girl needs that ride or die friend along the way。 While we are at it, how about we throw in a man so inciting we can't think straight。 Now we have a wild ride ahead。 Some of the best of us can relate to a time in our lives where we’ve felt unaccepted。 It changes some for good and some cant handle it。 This little wolf has been let down, broken, outcast, but she never lost heart。 I think this is why like her so much。 And, every girl needs that ride or die friend along the way。 While we are at it, how about we throw in a man so inciting we can't think straight。 Now we have a wild ride ahead。 。。。more

Mera - Tan skin, hazel eyes, red hair。This book took me completely for surprise, nothing like what I was expecting。 It's more of a fae book than a shifter book。 I couldn't put this book down, it's so good! This was actually pretty awesome。 I am a sucker for fantasy and a good sarcastic heroine and let me tell you this was very funny。 Mera, the main character, has little shame and this as you can imagine makes the book even more enjoyable and entertaining。 There is also the very well written fantasy base story, just to e clear by that I mean the foundation by which the story is built。 For example the origin of all the other entities。And let's not forget the scary shadow beast who spices the story u This was actually pretty awesome。 I am a sucker for fantasy and a good sarcastic heroine and let me tell you this was very funny。 Mera, the main character, has little shame and this as you can imagine makes the book even more enjoyable and entertaining。 There is also the very well written fantasy base story, just to e clear by that I mean the foundation by which the story is built。 For example the origin of all the other entities。And let's not forget the scary shadow beast who spices the story up。All in all this story is great。 I have no doubts the sequel will be as well。 。。。more

I was so excited for this book but it let me down。 The begging was good, everything I expected from a rejected mates book, however after about 30% of the book it was a chore to finish。 The FMC was annoying, even though I normally love strong characters I wasn’t happy with how she felt。 The story line dragged and I wanted so much more, it felt like I learned nothing till the last chapter。 I just wasn’t feeling it which sucked because, again, I was SO exited to read this trilogy。
