Summary

Forced out of the forest that had been their home for generations, the four warrior Clans are about to settle into their new homes around the lake。

Some cats see their new beginning as a chance for the Clans to live together in peace and friendship, but WindClan’s deputy Mudclaw believes the other Clans cannot be trusted。 And as he prepares to take the ailing Tallstar’s place as leader, he is determined to do whatever it takes to secure the future of his Clan—no matter the cost。

Set during the events of Warriors: The New Prophecy, this action-packed, stand-alone adventure is perfect for longtime Erin Hunter fans and new readers alike。

It’s okay… a bit of a review of the events that occurred during Starlight… The only “new” explored thing was the intimate conversations between Hawkfrost and Mudclaw, but other than that nothing of significance。 😕

3。5, maybe? I have a terrible memory, and I forgot some stuff that happened at the end of this one。 I really enjoy following cats from other clans, since we're usually focused on thunderclan, or just visiting other clans briefly (or they're visiting thunderclan)。 There are some gorgeous illustrations of night scenes, and anything with starclan is always beautiful。 I love the ceremony where new leaders receive their nine lives。。。I actually got a bit teary back in firestar's and I am NOT an emotio 3。5, maybe? The books and graphic novels do a great job showing different perspectives, showing how each cat justifies their actions。 I just love the warriors world overall! And I like how this and shadow in riverclan looked back at older arcs, since I'm still a bit behind。 It's exciting to be able to read new stories right away without spoiling things for myself ☺️ 。。。more

I love the mangas and novellas created to dig further into side characters' stories。 It's such a great way to learn more about them and their motives。 It helps you see from their perspective and understand their intentions more。 I especially love the full color graphic novels。 They're beautiful and I love artist renditions of the cats。 Mudclaw's story and death is one that's always suck around with me through all the years of new Warriors stories。 I'm so happy to have gotten more of his story in I love the mangas and novellas created to dig further into side characters' stories。 It's such a great way to learn more about them and their motives。 It helps you see from their perspective and understand their intentions more。 I especially love the full color graphic novels。 They're beautiful and I love artist renditions of the cats。 Mudclaw's story and death is one that's always suck around with me through all the years of new Warriors stories。 I'm so happy to have gotten more of his story in graphic novel form。 。。。more

These warriors graphic novels are two times better than most of the actual books。 I quit reading the main series warriors books, but this book and A Shadow In RiverClan have everything those ones lack: Believable characters, character development, no filler, an interesting plot, etc。 I hope to see more of these graphic novels because I love them!

Oooh, I loved this one。 This insight into Mudclaw was fascinating and I honestly love him。 It's crazy how reading this I remember being so angry at Mudclaw, but now I'm angry at Firestar and ThunderClan and all of them。 I love how these side stories help flesh out the characters and make you remember that they're all just trying to do the best thing。 Ten out of ten。 Oooh, I loved this one。 This insight into Mudclaw was fascinating and I honestly love him。 It's crazy how reading this I remember being so angry at Mudclaw, but now I'm angry at Firestar and ThunderClan and all of them。 I love how these side stories help flesh out the characters and make you remember that they're all just trying to do the best thing。 Ten out of ten。 。。。more

This was a really good graphic novel。 I love the Warriors graphic novels。 They're so much fun to read! I was thinking about the fact that if I, as a human, were to stumble upon the clans。。。 not even my love of cats would stop me from thinking that many were disgusting。 There are so many and no twolegs ever seem to notice。 I feel like something would've been done。 I guess it depends on whether there's that many wild cats around me and I don't notice them, lol This was a really good graphic novel。 I love the Warriors graphic novels。 They're so much fun to read! I liked the storyline。 It was nice to see how Mudclaw was doing what he thought was right。 I didn’t like him in the great journey, but this one, I liked him。 It was sad to see him die, but nice to see the significance of the tree that fell on him。 Weren’t he and Onestar cousins? One star’s father was Stagleap and Mudclaw’s mother was Ryestalk。 Stagleap and Ryestalk were littermates。

Allegra

Wonderful look at this character and his passion。 I really liked the illustrations as well。 A very fun and beautiful read。

Oh my gosh this was so good! This is why I love Warriors books, all it takes is a new perspective to make you look at something in a whole new way。 It just goes to show that good characters can do bad things without being evil。 I love it!

Reviewing this one for School Library Connection。Warriors fans will enjoy it, of course。

What a great addition to the Warriors manga series。 The story brings back one of the classic tales that come before the current series in the main line。 The series continues to impress by developing stories that were not explored in-depth in the main series。 Fans of the series, young and old, will enjoy this new addition。 Note: I am a public librarian reviewing this book from an Advanced Reader Copy provided by the publisher through Edelweiss。
