Riveting！ I love these characters especially Aria who found her way to gain respect despite her circumstances。 This book had me on edge and captivated with the light and darkness thats a constant。 Till the light won！！

3。5I would rate this higher than Bound By Honor because it’s the mans perspective and I loved it a bit more。 I decided not to though just because the overall story doesn’t change。 Seeing Lucas pov was an eye opener because of how different he seems in this one than Arias book。 I loved how soft he was for her and that we got to see his backstory in detail。

*May contain some spoilers*This was a good read， and I read it after reading Bound by Honour （which is from Aria's perspective）， and it was good to see Luca's perspective， and how differently they saw certain things， and also seeing Luca's vulnerbility unfold was very interesting to read， because he was such a guarded character。 Luca was also quite funny， with how he would get protective over Aria， or how he would feel rejected at certain points。 I did also really like Monteo's character， whenev *May contain some spoilers*This was a good read， and I read it after reading Bound by Honour （which is from Aria's perspective）， and it was good to see Luca's perspective， and how differently they saw certain things， and also seeing Luca's vulnerbility unfold was very interesting to read， because he was such a guarded character。 Luca was also quite funny， with how he would get protective over Aria， or how he would feel rejected at certain points。 I did also really like Monteo's character， whenever he was present， usually he would make me laugh， and I found his fashion conscious ways indearing。 I did prefer reading their story from Aria's perspective however， I just felt more connected to her， but Luca's perspective was also good。 I guess its also because I wasn't suprised much with what happened in the story when reading this book， because I had already come across it with Bound by Honour， so this could be why I wasn't as invested。 That being said， this was a page turner， and I kept wanting to come back to it and find out more。 Reading about Luca's father， and how he treated women especially， was really hard， and I really did feel disturbed in two particular scenes， one with his mum and one with Nina。 It made me sympathise with Luca， and realising how he hadn't really experienced much love， before Aria。 And we got to see how desperately lonely and in need of love he was。 It seemed to me that he was a good guy stuck in a bad situation， having grown up in the mafia， it was all he knew。 I wasn't too happy with how in the end Aria told him she loved him， but that he was a bad guy and that she didn't know why she loved him。 I don't think that was right。 Sure he did some horrible things to people， but he was also capable of being caring and loving， and tried his best to not be bad to the women close to him。 That being said however， I wasn't happy with how Grace was treated in the whole situation。 Sure she went too far and what she did to Aria was unforgivable， but she had been with Luca for 3 years， and then he just dismissed her， without even an explanation， so that would have hurt her， and she seemed to be in love with him。 In all honesty I would have preferred more scenes with Luca and Grace， especially the sex scenes， I think they would have been far more interesting than some of the ones with Aria， which became kind of repetitive。 I will definately continue following this series， I wish there was more focus on Luca and Aria， because I have become attached to them， but maybe I will find the other couples in the other books just as exciting to read about。 And I have heard that we get to see that Luca becomes a great capo throughout the series， so， I am looking forward to that。 。。。more

i get it， i get it all， but i can´r get behind cheating and losing control when having sex。 i though this book would make me understand Luca but it only made me realize that i don´t have to understand hiim， because he doesn´r understands himself。
